Not my favorite Starbucks location... Parking: You can park in the Walmart and Sam's Club private lot because this Starbucks is located on the same level as Walmart (ground level) facing Ke'eaumoku St. Even though there are a lot of stalls, it doesn't mean you'll find one. It's very busy at all times of the day. Ambiance and Service: This location is very cozy meaning it's very small. It has very limited seating inside and when you do find seating, it's usually dirty. The bar stools add more seats but it's just not enough for a Starbucks. Granted that they have tables outside but they are always full. Sometimes you see homeless people sitting there and I defiantly don't want to sit there after. It's very loud at this location whether you sit inside or out. The people who work here are friendly which is why they didn't get a 1 star at this location. Not sure if they aren't as busy as the other locations I go to but I feel that they ring you up and make the drinks here slower. I've had a couple orders here that were wrong which is disappointing when it was simple orders. Unsweetened, how hard is that? It's ok because we all make mistakes. I really feel that this is probably my least favorite location out of the ones I've gone to. When people want to meet here, I cringe. Come here if you must but don't be disappointed if you do. read more

I had a Pumpkin Spice Latte last week at a different location that was terrible. So I came here to give it a second shot. I asked if they changed anything about it, telling her about my last experience (which was a shock, because I love the psl) and she said yes. They now use real pumpkin. So I was even more shocked to think I wouldn't like it, and furthermore that I wouldn't like it more! So she made it for me and told me to let her know if I didn't like it, and she would make me something else. I really appreciated that. AND I was happy to tell her that I in fact did like it! Must have just had a bad one at the other location (inside the Hilton lobby). I came in today (9/28) at 2:30. It's a small Sbux located on Keeaumoku next to Walmart. Service was great on this Thursday afternoon, and there was a steady slow stream of people coming in and out. No sugar syrup, they sweeten your iced tea for you. Wifi is great, and there's barstool seating for about 6 people, with 6 outlets, and then two small tables that seat 2 each. There's also TONS of outdoor tables along the pathway to Walmart, but no outlets out there. I had a couple hours to kill and some work to do, so I dropped by in hopes of snagging an outlet. It's not too shabby. I don't know that I'd come here for a full workday (chairs start to hurt the bum, music is a little loud, and there's no guarantee that you'd get a seat), but since I was in the area, it worked just fine. There's lots of street parking (2 hour metered) nearby, and you get free 3 hour parking at Walmart if you buy something. I normally wouldn't review huge chains like sbux since their stores are similar purposefully, but I know what it's like to be on the hunt for a great study spot, so I'm trying to spread the word as I make my way around town. :) read more

Located in the row of stores/restaurants adjacent to Walmart. Starbucks is Starbucks. I expect greatness on a consistent basis. Service is attentive and quick. Coffee products are high quality. At the time of my visit, this location was lacking most, if not all, of the pastries and sweet products that I've come to love. I don't know why these weren't available, but it was a huge disappointment. Because of its proximity to Walmart and Sam's Club, this location is typically pretty crowded. There was enough ice to keep it from watering down, mixed well and perfectly sweet just like I like it. Came out to about $5.70. Customer service was exceptional. I waited at the register after scanning my phone(Starbucks app) to pay and the cashier walked away from me. I stood there wondering if I was done. She came out the back room, saw me standing there and said kindly, "did you want a receipt?" I replied, "No." she said "Your drink will be ready right here" and pointed to the far left of the coffee shop. Honestly, I personally like when a cashier lets me know we're done with everything. When a re-written review is in order, it has to be deserved. Starbucks Keeaumoku deserves just that and a thorough one too. What a busy busy place! But that never surprises me. I've been coming here for the past 6 years and this location has always been my saving grace. Everyone loves the feeling of knowing someone over the counter and you don't have to say a word about what you want to order. When there are a couple of bus stops near the location, you can't help but stop for a quick coffee or food order. While there are several other Starbucks locations at the mall, the Keeaumoku location gets a lot of foot traffic from the locale. I've only known the location to have a very rare downtime. Whenever I do find them at their slowest, I always ask... "What the hell happened to this damn place? Where are all the customers? I feel like I'm in a damn Twilight Zone!" The manager (Emjay) would mention "Oh, there was just a quick rush! But just wait for it!" I didn't doubt that at all. This is my absolute favorite Starbucks location. Why? Even though the place of business is small, people still have room to sit against the windows (bar style). Since people (like you) are always on the go, go, go, the turnaround is fairly quick. I adore the changing decorations according to seasons and their constant interchangeable brews as well. But they will mostly have their usual. The vicinity is always clean and the staff is wonderful. Items do sell out throughout the day but that's understandable since they're the only easy accessible Starbucks in the area besides the mall. However they do restock quickly. I love the sale on large cups since I do come nearly every day for my constant changing selections. I would highly recommend downloading their app to earn points and for mobile ordering. It's quite the powerful app. There are many great deals and free drinks offered as a gold member. You can recharge your app, scan gift cards and pay with your phone by scanning the code scanner with their reader. I've been testing the mobile ordering platform for the past month and it's been the best thing they've rolled out with. This is highly recommended for people that don't have time to wait in line. "Ain't nobody got time for that!" You can literally walk straight to the end of the line and feel VIPizzle upon grabbing your mobile ordered drink or food with your name on it while watching everyone else wait for theirs. Certain days you can get double the stars for ordering via your mobile phone. It's that simple! Most or all Starbucks locations should have this option but please check on your app first. Browse the app for they have many more options and promotions happening on the daily. Another recommended thing is to bring your own cups or buy from them. It will save you .10c and save the planet. A little by little becomes a lot. Starbucks Keeaumoku is located on that very same street next to Walmart, a couple doors down from Golden Coin and next door to Supercuts. Another convenient Starbucks location! Get your Starbucks fix while you shop at Walmart. I usually pick up mobile orders drinks from this location. All employees I dealt with here were all friendly. Most of the time, I was able to pick up my drinks at the end when I used mobile order. However, there were a few times where I still had to wait for my mobile order drink. This location is smaller than others. There are only high top seats available inside the store against the window. There are tables outside but are usually taken. Unfortunately, a lot of homeless people are known to hang out in the area. This Starbucks is within a block and a half from where we live in Honolulu so I frequent this location whenever we're at our second home, dating back to almost 10 years now... The employees are usually very friendly and efficient. They are always busy no matter what time of day because they are located in prime location of all the malls and shopping center. Every time I feel the need for a caffeine break in Honolulu, you'll find me sitting in front of this Starbucks. They have a few tables and chairs out front under the shades next to Wal-Mart where you can just sit back, relax and watch people walk by. This Starbucks holds a lot of fond memories for me. The People of Walmart Starbucks This is the most interesting Starbucks on the whole island (probably in the whole state). Not because of the coffee, ambiance, or anything that has to do with Starbucks. It's residue experience from a completely separate company actually... Walmart. If you've ever walked by this area outside you will immediately get that signature burnt coffee smell, mixed with heavy cigarette smoke, the classic urine in the corner smell, and if you're lucky enough, someone who hasn't bathed in months. Top that off with maybe a street musician or two, someone asking to bum a cigarette, wandering tourists, and that lady with a ton of bags that just bought fundraiser bread/cookies/candy bars/Crispy Cremes from just around the corner. Finally, the fact that The Bus also stops along "Koreamoku" Street pretty close by and you've got a recipe for some interesting stuff. So, if you have time after buying that low low priced dvd of Elf and that box of cheap macadamia nut candies, grab a latte, pull up that dirty metal chair (upwind), and watch the show. read more

Can I give a negative star? Cody didn't follow the drink order with light ice and then when we asked for the light ice with the drink he dumped out half the cup and filled up the drink with coffee and then still with extra ice. You're supposed to take the ice out and add coffee and soy, not dump the cup out and put ice coffee and the same amount of ice as before. Please also don't give stink eye when you make the drink too. Rude baristas that think they're cooler than they're actually are, slow service and food products of questionable freshness. This Starbucks is small and cramped. Baristas out put are not fast enough so it gets crowded quickly. The few times I've been there to grab a "quick" coffee took me over 30 minutes.
