There are a couple employees that keep up the Starbucks experience but on average you generally have to wait for all the employees to get their drinks before you can order. Looks like time theft, but worst of all you're at their mercy for your coffee. I wish there was a Starbucks near here. read more

This was my first time at this location. Was just stopping here because I had work in the area. Cashiers / Baristas were very rude. They were whispering to each other about something the whole time I was deciding on what I wanted, which made me uncomfortable so I rushed & ordered anything. The whispering continued after I placed my order... The barista made my Frappuccino very sloppy & thick. She spilled Frappuccino all outside of the cup as she poured it in. The barista simply put a top on it & sat it on the counter for me as it was. Didn't offer me napkins nor did she attempt to wipe/clean my cup off. I asked her for napkins, she ignored me the first time(I know she heard me she just didn't want to answer) . I went here this morning always looking forward to my Starbucks. It was pretty busy. I didn't know the rules and was standing in the wrong place. Got yelled at "if your ordering you need to mover over here". Alright, whatever, you could have said it nicer. I moved to the other side and stood behind the guy in that line. Slow slow slow that's my first comment. Then she says if your ordering stand over there and pointed 3 feet to my left. I'm thinking really she's making me move over 3 feet and for what reason. It's finally my turn and I say to the snippy little girl Grande Carmel Latte. I didn't say I want one grande I didn't say can I have a grande. It was simple. Grande Carmel Latte. The snotty girl said hot or cold. I said hot. I showed her my phone she scanned it and I finally moved to the other line and waited. And waited. And waited. About 10 minutes later the other snotty girl said 2 Carmel lattes. I look around because I didn't order 2. She says "you" and points to me. I say I didn't order 2. "What!" She replies. "I didn't order 2". She turns to the other girl "she didn't order two ". Other girl "well I charged her for two". She turns back to me "she charged you for 2. I can't give you a refund. How did you pay for it". "My phone Ap I said". They then just stared at each other like two stupid deers in the road just knowing the car is coming. I was done. I took the two lattes said "You know what I'll take them and just write a review. Kids these days. There are a lot of Starbucks in town. Please avoid this branch unless you have a half hour to waste and like being spoken to like your a 5 year old. I have an extra latte if anyone needs one. read more

I've never been to this Starbucks location before last night and will never be back. I stopped in and placed my order. The girl behind the counter looked confused and I had to repeat it twice and then correct the size twice more. Then, while making my drink, she sneezes repeatedly, not bothering to turn away or wash her hands before continuing her work. She then wipes her nose with each hand and continues to prepare my drink. I think I was too dumbfounded by the lack of hygiene to say anything initially, but when she picked up the lid in one gross hand then used the other hand to cover a barrage of coughs over my drink, I had to stop her. Then she gives me a nasty attitude saying "it's not like I coughed into your cup, I coughed into my hand and I didn't put my hand in the cup or anything..." Sure, because your hand is a solid barrier against everything you're spewing. I understand that people get sick and you still have to work, but I can't understand why she would be allowed to stay and prep food/drinks if she was that sick. I'm not easily grossed out, but I'm pretty sure that my drink wouldn't have had as many germs if she put her mouth on the lid and blew into it. We were doing some shopping with my boyfriend in Target today.lt was so cold outside,that I decided to have a cup of coffee,like always I ordered my latte.The ladies were so rude while taking my order!laughing at my accent!!!!!!! On 1/16/17 went to try something new at Starbucks and had the worst experience ever. Young gentleman working there didn't even acknowledge my presence, didn't ask what I want, as opposed to that he looked at me like I was bothering him and he was doing me a favor. I then diffused he will take my order, once I told him, he never responded anything just walked away somewhere in the back area and was gone for like 3 mins. ( he was working there by himself) when he came back he started making a drink and it took 5 mins to make it ( which I'm fine with) he gave it to me and never said anything again, silent throughout the whole process. The coffee he made was disgusting and I never even finished half way through. P.S. while I was leaving some lady came by to order a drink and she experienced the whole CS, and looked at me and made noise like she couldn't believe that she was treated same way. My worst Starbucks experience ever, this Mannheim Rd location inside Target. Zero eye contact from either the cashier or the barista, they both were distracted with talking to each other, my drink was made incorrectly because of the barista being distracted, and then neither of the drinks I ordered tasted even a little bit good - very weak and tasteless. So disappointed. Wasn't even worth going back to get the drinks remade, in spite of their priciness, because the whole experience was just bad. read more

the only reason I gave this even 1 star is that there is a girl here with tattoos who is very good. the other barista's at this place are complete idiots. I got a hot chocolate and I ask a girl to make it extra hot and she said to me oh you should have said something before I work at Starbucks and I know that you can pull down the lever again to make a drink extra hot. also I got 1 pump of rasberry in something and I got charged 50 cents for that. Worst ever. Walked in at 10:15 am they said they didn't have any coffee, only iced drinks because espresso machine was down. I asked for regular coffee and was told they didn't have any ready. At 10:15 AM. No coffee at Starbucks at 10:15...there's no excuse for this. Plus the girl at the counter was snotty about it. read more

This Starbucks is literally right around the corner from my job. It's so bad, I will drive out of the way to go to another Starbucks. This mall would be perfect if they had an actual Starbucks, but that will never happen because of the Target Starbucks. I was at this Starbucks in Target in Hillside, IL this afternoon at approximately 2:00 PM and walked out. The service was terrible. The young man appeared to be a trainee and the lady training him was disorganized and not customer service driven. I have never seen such behavior and lack of customer service at a Starbucks. The lady was chit chatting with a Target employee while the young man tried to check out an order she had started and given him halfway through. She then came back to the register area and asked the person behind me if she could help her with a drink as if I were invisible (I had ordered an ice latte) but the person's order ahead of me had been mixed up and the young man was trying to figure it out.
