Root canal Service was slow, nowhere to sit when other places are open to eat in.. The cashier at the time I was there couldn't be more disinterested in waiting on any customers. I had taken a break from Starbucks due to lukewarm customer service and not so great coffee experiences. I ordered my drink at 4:18 I got it at 4:32. Next time I'm visiting Grand Island I will pick up cold brew from Chamaeleon at a health food store before I come into town so I don't have to subject myself to such a bad experience and pour coffee to top it off plus they got my drink wrong. read more

I mobile order usually 1-2 times a week. And it has been awful. Last week I had to order it 20 minutes in advance and it still wasn't ready when I got there, I waited an extra 10 minutes. Today was a 45 minute wait. I get there is morning rush but the past three months I have been going here it's never more than 10 minutes. Somehow Starbucks generally have low/negative reviews and I'm never clear why - they did seem really busy when I went (both for the drivethru and in the store), but they were friendly, helpful and the place was clean. You can tell the baristas do what they can with the workload they receive. The retail portion of things is upsetting because we don't have a local target that we can easily access to get most merchandise. As far as Starbucks go, this one is well run and clean. The drive thru line is crazy, mainly because there is only one Starbucks in this little town. However, I gave them 4 stars out of 5 because of their inconsistency and stock. I may be nitpicking here a bit, but I know how I like my drink made and not everyone does it the same even with instructions. As for bakery items, they run out quickly and won't have them in stock for a day or two. Lastly, if you see the drive thru is super long, don't let that discourage you, they are really quick. I've given this new pineapple matcha drinks multiple chances, and each time it comes out like this. I was a barista at another coffee place for 2 and a half years and I learned the right away to melt the matcha powder so it doesn't end up like this. If you've ever had matcha powder, it's not pleasant unless mixed with something sweeter. You have to add a tiny bit of very hot water to the bottom of the cup with the matcha, and stir until the matcha is melted down. Add all your milk, etc. and then stir again. UGH read more

Won't be back here. Drive through took 35 minutes. Once we finally got to order they were out of egg whites. Menu mentioned nothing of cookies, brownies, and other desert items. Starbucks is the only coffee house I go to and was in town for a state 4-H horse show and always go there. They said they don't have stevia for my drink, haven't had it for 2 weeks and don't know when they'll have any! I will be here for the rest of the week and might try another coffee shop. Tina is the rudest person I've ever encountered at any Starbucks. My husband and I were passing through and stopped to grab breakfast and a coffee. I asked Tina for sriracha for my sandwich and she rudely dropped them in front of me. Shortly after I asked her if I had another drink coming and she responded with an attitude "I can only make one drink at a time". Also mentioned that she couldn't make my second drink because she had to get me sriracha (as if I was being needy). I shrugged it off and went out to to the car to realize that my drink was not made with coconut milk. When I went back in and explained to her that my drink was supposed to be with coconut milk she responded with "that's an up charge" and walked away. I just wanted my drink so I ordered a second drink from my Starbucks app. She saw my order and intentionally made every other drink ahead of mine as I patiently waited. Staff is very friendly but incredibly slow. Given they are usually swamped but it will take 20 minutes to get through he drive thru so don't come here if you are in a hurry. Not only are they slow but 7/10 times I've come here, they've messed up my order leaving me annoyed and disappointed. Daughter and I found the only Starbucks between Hastings and Grand Island, and the drive thru staff was so much friendlier than the staff at any of the Denver metro Starbucks! Seriously, everyone was smiling, and it was only like 9am. We were in, out, caffeinated and on our way to Hastings College in a blink of an eye. Grand Island, NE- The wait time here was ridiculous. I have never left a place after ordering a coffee, without my drink. I didn't even try to get my money back because there was a line, I was DONE waiting! A customer there said she'd waited 40 minutes. And there were at least 10 people waiting in the store for their orders. I was so mad and my husband was waiting in the car, we were traveling home and didn't have 40 minutes to wait for an iced chai latte which any other day takes less than a minute to make. I had been to this Starbucks a few weeks ago and did not have this issue at all. very disappointed and I am not a person that storms out of a business but I did today! I felt the need to update this as I have received several messages from Conner's friend. His name calling and insults were very colorful to say the least so I will not post pictures of our interaction but I think it further proves my point for my original comments. Apparently I am not allowed to give an honest review of my visit to this location without being harassed................................................I've visited this location a handful of times since moving in July and for the most part the experience was 'Okay'; the wait times in the drive thru were unusually long compared to what I'm used to from other locations and the teen to mid-twentysomething running the window would always spout the amount due out and then hand me my order without a word and send me on my way. Regardless, no one up to this most recent visit had been outright rude and at least my order was always right. Not to mention coffee shops are lacking here so short of going in to HyVee to Caribou or running over to Baristas, there aren't a lot to choose from. That might explain the HORRENDOUS customer service I received on my most recent and LAST visit. I went I admit too early for their buy one get one deal and the guy 'greeting'(I use this term loosely as he sounded like I interrupted his gossiping time to actually do his job and was annoyed by my existence) once realizing what I was asking for once again sounded perturbed as he told me "ummm no we can't do that, it starts at 2 and it's not 2." Fair enough, my mistake, I left, ran errands and came back at 2. This time I get a girl, Conner, who proceeds to take my order as two iced trentas, then when telling me the flavors available advises me the first flavor I picked won't taste as good cold but they can make them. Okay, I did appreciate the initial heads up and understand most people don't like coffee to actually taste like coffee but I do so I told her that was fine and wanted them anyway. She then tells me she "can't" make it cold when she originally had said yes and again starts explaining why I'm wrong for wanting coffee to taste like itself. I give up and order it in another flavor, repeat above conversation.....so then to avoid a third round I ask her which flavors are available as a cold option, finally I get permission from the coffee police to order my third choice. Once at the window they hand me two talls.....I mention I ordered two trentas, Conner again educates me on how my drinks are only available in tall and grande and stated she had repeated Grande to me at the end of my order. She hadn't. I ask if Venti is available since she didn't mention it, yes it is so I get two ventis. At this point Conner is giving attitude and frustrated, I'm giving attitude and frustrated and I attempt to talk to someone else about who the manager is so I can forward this interaction to them when I'm met with a young man who proceeds to roll his eyes at me and shut the window in my face when I tell them their customer service needs work. I understand this may a first job to some but if you're going to take on adult responsibilities then act like one instead of a spoiled, entitled brat. So disappointed with this location and will miss my frequent Starbucks runs as it used to be a favorite of mine. Other nearby coffee shops will be getting my business from now on. read more
