Root canal Service was slow, nowhere to sit when other places are open to eat in.. The cashier at the time I was there couldn't be more disinterested in waiting on any customers. I had taken a break from Starbucks due to lukewarm customer service and not so great coffee experiences. I ordered my drink at 4:18 I got it at 4:32. Next time I'm visiting Grand Island I will pick up cold brew from Chamaeleon at a health food store before I come into town so I don't have to subject myself to such a bad experience and pour coffee to top it off plus they got my drink wrong. read more

I mobile order usually 1-2 times a week. And it has been awful. Last week I had to order it 20 minutes in advance and it still wasn't ready when I got there, I waited an extra 10 minutes. Today was a 45 minute wait. I get there is morning rush but the past three months I have been going here it's never more than 10 minutes. I love Starbucks but I won't be going here anymore until they fix their timing issues. read more

Just passing through. Making it from Deadwood in The Dakotas back to Houston, Texas and not expecting much from Starbucks other than a Breve Latte. These guys crushed it when it came to customer service. And the Breve was the best. read more

Always good choice for frappiccino drinks. Stopped now for B one of those enroute home from short meeting this evening.

Busy location but it does the job! WiFi and tables available for studying and stores nearby.

Somehow Starbucks generally have low/negative reviews and I'm never clear why - they did seem really busy when I went (both for the drivethru and in the store), but they were friendly, helpful and the place was clean. I will note that t did seem to be a bit slow from the time people ordered to the time people got their drinks. read more

I have been in Grand Island a few times and have enjoyed stopping here. The staff has been great. Today I tried to order for pick up however, this service was not available. No explanation was given when I asked. I thought those that relied on this service feature as I do should know. read more

This is apparently a newer Starbucks and I'm thankful as I was passing thru I could get my consistently favorite beverages. The bathroom here needed some sprucing up but overall I love the consistency of Starbucks as I'm traveling around. read more

This is the worst location I've ever been to. It took 33 mins for me to get a blended drink because the 30 mobile orders melting and getting cold on counter had to come first. I'll never be back. I haven't been at a Starbucks in awhile hopefully all locations aren't like this now. read more

Love the South Locust location. The personnel are always upbeat and do their best to please.

You can tell the baristas do what they can with the workload they receive. The retail portion of things is upsetting because we don't have a local target that we can easily access to get most merchandise. Overall this location is consistent and improving and they have made it a third place for me to be. read more

As far as Starbucks go, this one is well run and clean. The drive thru line is crazy, mainly because there is only one Starbucks in this little town. However, I gave them 4 stars out of 5 because of their inconsistency and stock. I may be nitpicking here a bit, but I know how I like my drink made and not everyone does it the same even with instructions. As for bakery items, they run out quickly and won't have them in stock for a day or two. Lastly, if you see the drive thru is super long, don't let that discourage you, they are really quick. I also posted hours of operation since I found those hard to find on this specific Starbucks. read more

I've given this new pineapple matcha drinks multiple chances, and each time it comes out like this. I was a barista at another coffee place for 2 and a half years and I learned the right away to melt the matcha powder so it doesn't end up like this. If you've ever had matcha powder, it's not pleasant unless mixed with something sweeter. You have to add a tiny bit of very hot water to the bottom of the cup with the matcha, and stir until the matcha is melted down. Add all your milk, etc. and then stir again. UGH read more

This is the worst experience I've had with Starbucks. Walking up to it I wasn't sure I was in the right place. It was so dirty and disgusting. There were 5 people working and they all kept waking past me. I said "Good Morning Guys!", no response. The guy that finally assisted me was so miserable. I asked for a receipt and he said they don't have any. The person making drinks handed me my drink and didn't say a word or even look at me. Starbucks what is going on??? read more

Great service every time! My friend accidentally spilled his drink in the store and after the cleanup was done they gave him another drink free of charge :). That's customer service!! :). I've been here numerous times and can't ask for better service! 5 stars all the way!! read more

Starbucks - Best coffee in town! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Grand Island, Nebraska

My coffee tastes like potash and wet cigarette butts. I like a nice dark coffee but this is hands down thEEE WORST coffee I have ever had. I hope they burned it by mistake because if this was on purpose, y'all need to go back to the drawing board. I don't care for Starbucks anyhow, but my coworkers wanted it so I figured why not. Thanks for the reminder why I don't do Starbucks. read more

Won't be back here. Drive through took 35 minutes. Once we finally got to order they were out of egg whites. Menu mentioned nothing of cookies, brownies, and other desert items. I asked for a small amount of Half and half in my coffee and got a large amount plus sugar. I didn't die but I will not be returning to this terrible place. read more

Out of caramel brulee in the morning and out of double smoked bacon. Ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese. Gave us a fork to spread cream cheese. Asked for a knife but was told I couldn't be helped by that worker, had to go back to the line and get a fork. Another nice worker however in the meantime got the fork for me after overhearing. Mainly disappointed they were out of both items we initially tried to order. read more

Good customer service but the drive thru is rediculously slow in the morning.

Starbucks is the only coffee house I go to and was in town for a state 4-H horse show and always go there. They said they don't have stevia for my drink, haven't had it for 2 weeks and don't know when they'll have any! I will be here for the rest of the week and might try another coffee shop. What a way to run a business!! The one that made my drink was also rude! read more

Tina is the rudest person I've ever encountered at any Starbucks. My husband and I were passing through and stopped to grab breakfast and a coffee. I asked Tina for sriracha for my sandwich and she rudely dropped them in front of me. Shortly after I asked her if I had another drink coming and she responded with an attitude "I can only make one drink at a time". Also mentioned that she couldn't make my second drink because she had to get me sriracha (as if I was being needy). I shrugged it off and went out to to the car to realize that my drink was not made with coconut milk. When I went back in and explained to her that my drink was supposed to be with coconut milk she responded with "that's an up charge" and walked away. I just wanted my drink so I ordered a second drink from my Starbucks app. She saw my order and intentionally made every other drink ahead of mine as I patiently waited. I Will never stop at the grand island Starbucks again. read more

Staff is very friendly but incredibly slow. Given they are usually swamped but it will take 20 minutes to get through he drive thru so don't come here if you are in a hurry. Not only are they slow but 7/10 times I've come here, they've messed up my order leaving me annoyed and disappointed. I'm not going to hold up the line after waiting 20 minutes to make them remake my drunk every time. read more

Go in EARLY if you want GREAT service, the night crew is busy making tik-toks and goofing around. It's a busy store but the seasoned crew members are keeping it going. They also seem to close a lot with no explanation. read more

I love my Grand Island, NE Starbucks! I am met every time I pick up coffee with a positive attitude, a smile, and a helping hand. These individuals work so hard. They have even managed to do their best to handle the long lines in drive through since not being able to open. I love that they added the pick up option through the app. There was a day where it wouldn't allow it - come to find out they were having app isues - technology is fun lol - Thank you GI Starbucks love coming to you guys! read more

Daughter and I found the only Starbucks between Hastings and Grand Island, and the drive thru staff was so much friendlier than the staff at any of the Denver metro Starbucks! Seriously, everyone was smiling, and it was only like 9am. We were in, out, caffeinated and on our way to Hastings College in a blink of an eye. And, unlike when I get tea at other shops, my Youthberry wasn't so hot it burns my teeth like it usually does. Stay gold, Grand Island Starbucks! read more

The most happening coffee joint in Grand Island! Drive thru service, fast and friendly! First and only time here while traveling through.

Starbucks is always solid. Blonde roast coffee and the cranberry delight bars were my choices this time. Good/quick service is usually rendered here except during the busiest of times. read more

The lobby never seems to be open anymore. Every time my friends and I want to enjoy a nice time at Starbucks, we can't because the lobby is closed. We've had to find a new coffee spot, which is disappointing since the service and coffee are always top notch. read more

Friendly staff with a sense of humor. Nice, new facility.

Grand Island, NE- The wait time here was ridiculous. I have never left a place after ordering a coffee, without my drink. I didn't even try to get my money back because there was a line, I was DONE waiting! A customer there said she'd waited 40 minutes. And there were at least 10 people waiting in the store for their orders. I was so mad and my husband was waiting in the car, we were traveling home and didn't have 40 minutes to wait for an iced chai latte which any other day takes less than a minute to make. I had been to this Starbucks a few weeks ago and did not have this issue at all. very disappointed and I am not a person that storms out of a business but I did today! Get it together GI, i won't be stopping there again. read more

Pretty awesome coffees and drinks. My only question is, WHY isn't there one yet in Hastings Nebraska??

I felt the need to update this as I have received several messages from Conner's friend. His name calling and insults were very colorful to say the least so I will not post pictures of our interaction but I think it further proves my point for my original comments. Apparently I am not allowed to give an honest review of my visit to this location without being harassed................................................I've visited this location a handful of times since moving in July and for the most part the experience was 'Okay'; the wait times in the drive thru were unusually long compared to what I'm used to from other locations and the teen to mid-twentysomething running the window would always spout the amount due out and then hand me my order without a word and send me on my way. Regardless, no one up to this most recent visit had been outright rude and at least my order was always right. Not to mention coffee shops are lacking here so short of going in to HyVee to Caribou or running over to Baristas, there aren't a lot to choose from. That might explain the HORRENDOUS customer service I received on my most recent and LAST visit. I went I admit too early for their buy one get one deal and the guy 'greeting'(I use this term loosely as he sounded like I interrupted his gossiping time to actually do his job and was annoyed by my existence) once realizing what I was asking for once again sounded perturbed as he told me "ummm no we can't do that, it starts at 2 and it's not 2." Fair enough, my mistake, I left, ran errands and came back at 2. This time I get a girl, Conner, who proceeds to take my order as two iced trentas, then when telling me the flavors available advises me the first flavor I picked won't taste as good cold but they can make them. Okay, I did appreciate the initial heads up and understand most people don't like coffee to actually taste like coffee but I do so I told her that was fine and wanted them anyway. She then tells me she "can't" make it cold when she originally had said yes and again starts explaining why I'm wrong for wanting coffee to taste like itself. I give up and order it in another flavor, repeat above conversation.....so then to avoid a third round I ask her which flavors are available as a cold option, finally I get permission from the coffee police to order my third choice. Once at the window they hand me two talls.....I mention I ordered two trentas, Conner again educates me on how my drinks are only available in tall and grande and stated she had repeated Grande to me at the end of my order. She hadn't. I ask if Venti is available since she didn't mention it, yes it is so I get two ventis. At this point Conner is giving attitude and frustrated, I'm giving attitude and frustrated and I attempt to talk to someone else about who the manager is so I can forward this interaction to them when I'm met with a young man who proceeds to roll his eyes at me and shut the window in my face when I tell them their customer service needs work. I understand this may a first job to some but if you're going to take on adult responsibilities then act like one instead of a spoiled, entitled brat. So disappointed with this location and will miss my frequent Starbucks runs as it used to be a favorite of mine. Other nearby coffee shops will be getting my business from now on. read more
