Not sure if it's because it was a Saturday but I'm a little disappointed in my drink. I ordered it through app and it was ready within 10 minutes which was great but.... The drink wasn't what I ordered. I asked for no whip and it was on there and I certainly didn't get the extra shots like I asked for. Not my favorite Starbies - probably my least favorite to be honest. Nothing against the staff and their service, but this review is all about the logistics of this location. It's located at a very busy intersection. There is no drive through option. The parking lot is small with a dead end - hard to get in and out with the traffic flow (well, lack of good traffic flow). The lobby waiting area is smallish and usually packed with I'm guessing locals who like their coffee go to spot. It is always busy (good for them), but I feel like I'm squished inside a small fish bowl. It's not a comfy wait inside or quick in / out sort of situation. I came in to get My Husband a drink before his shift. This one was close to his work. Just a note there is no drive-through so you have to come in. However, the building is large and there's plenty of parking. Everyone is very kind when you walk in and there is plenty of options from cups to pastries and even juice boxes or bottled drinks . It's used to be my go-to Starbucks location since it was closed to my previous workplace. It's very spacious and clean. Staff here even remembered my name and my order. I still came here once in a while if I was in the area. They don't have drive through here but the service is usually fast. Plenty of parking most of the time. This Starbucks definitely used to be a bank or insurance office. It doesn't have your typical Starbucks decor or vibes. With that said, it is a big location with plenty of seating, inside and out. I had a great experience here and would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for some coffee consistency. When I was inside, there was a woman painting portraits at a table and it was really cool that there was some unique flavor here. There were also friends meeting, people working, and moms with kids. A really good mix of everything at this location. I got my usual and it came out promptly and I was on my way. I did not see a drivethrough but there was ample parking, There is no reason to give this Starbucks less than 5 stars. read more

I've been to a LOT of Starbucks and this is easily the worst one. The staff are nice but it is always exceedingly busy and something is deeply wrong with their espresso machines. Unsure if they do not clean or calibrate them, but I had to completely stop getting espresso drinks from this location because they are consistently so gross. Hello. I visited a Starbucks this morning and was told to leave the store. I was on the line with my mom who heard the whole thing. I have a condition of severe sleep apnea and I'm being tested for narcolepsy. My eyes must have closed while I was on the phone. I have been discriminated against. The store was almost bare and I was sitting in a lounge chair not with my head down. I feel humiliated. I am a business owner and a member of Starbucks since 2011. This kind of treatment has never happened to me anywhere else. I have noticed discriminating tactics with another person at a store close to home and now I know what it feels like to be treated that way. I just hope they don't discriminate with other handicapped individuals in the future. read more

I love this place. I spend a lot of time here (yes, I drink a lot of coffee and tea). To add a "needs improvement" comment, I think this location would serve its' customers better if they spent more time on cleanliness. - They REALLY need an employee to address the trash cans, which aren't emptied until they're overflowing. - They REALLY need an employee to walk the floor with a dust mop, picking up paper scraps, dropped napkins, and the like. - They REALLY need an employee to wipe down each table. - They REALLY need an employee to address the restrooms (refilling tissue, seat covers, soap) and sweeping the floor. The manager is very nonchalant and appears to not notice these problems. In a place with such a revolving door of customers all day every day, cleanliness should be priority one. Add the recent virus outbreaks in the news, and I'd say sanitizers should be everywhere. If I were managing, the above items would be addressed 2-3 times a day, between rushes. I am a lover of Starbucks and going on here is always comfortable. It is big enough to sit down and have a nice chat over coffee and efficient enough to quickly run in and grab the drink of your choice. Staff is very friendly and when you are a regular they often remember your name and order. Every now and again you will find a bad apple but also will find those that go above and beyond to make sure you are a happy customer. If you love Starbucks, this is a great location. read more

Very slow. Shut down online pick up. I have been working by this Starbucks and unfortunately this is the worst one I've been too. The workers are really nice it's more so the company not sure if they haven't hired enough people or what but pick up orders are always late, no drive through and no they don't even allow you to order ahead. The workers are so backed up you have to constantly remind them of what you have and wait for orders. They should close earlier in the day so maybe more workers can be available in the mornings. Two things I love about this Starbucks. First, it doesn't have a drive thru, which is a huge drawing point for me. I loathe drive thrus because it basically just caters to laziness. Second, it's literally across the street from my job at Trader Joe's, so my awesome boss tends to bring us lattes and marshmallow treats more often than not. There's lots of room out on the patio when the weather allows it. The parking tends to be a nightmare on occasion, but, like I said, I work at Trader Joe's. I'm used to it. read more

I'm so disappointed in the behavior that was displayed towards a customer at this location .Craig Rd and Olive .On Christmas my husband and I went to meet my daughter to exchange gifts. I made an online order.There was a lady waiving to get the attention of a worker who appeared to be handling mobile orders.The employee was wearing a elf outfit which caught my attention however,her behavior was more like the grinch.( sorry) The worker literally looked pass the lady who stood beside me waving and asked me "maam do you have a mobile order? " I said "I'll wait she was before me." The worker looked at the lady and asked"what do you want? " The lady said " pardon me.." The worker raised her voice in front of the full dining room of guest and asked"Did you order ?" The lady said "please don't yell at me ,yes I ordered "I was shocked at the exchange and obviously the lady was because,she was frozen.I stepped up to stand next to the lady. I said ,ask for the manager this is ridiculous The worker then said"just tell me what you want." The lady walked away and asked for the manager. The manager apologized the lady continued to wait then thanked me for being polite.The manager is a nice young man however, The lady was one of two people of color in Starbucks .I felt very uncomfortable to witness what appeared to be discrimination or rudeness at the least displayed toward a customer who never raised her voice or got rude. Im reporting this incident to the B.B B.because Creve Coeur is a very friendly,diverse area and at no point will people who are employed in jobs where customer service is important bring the disrespectful,rude behavior or discriminate toward anyone of any race. My husband and I asked the lady if she felt the worker was discriminating against her.The lady's response shocked me .The lady said ,"a couple of weeks ago the same worker literally told every customer thank you ,have a nice day but practically shoved my drink in my hand ,didn't say thank you or anything.The lady said "as I told the manager this is the second time the worker treated me differently. " I asked "do you two know one another outside of here?" The lady said " no the problem is I sued Starbucks for defamation of character and discrimination, the case is pending so I'm almost certain the word has gotten out that the employees who defamed my character were fired so I could care less if the employees like me as a person.I'm.professional and confident which is something people who aren't use to seeing someone that looks like me being.I will never hold my head down nor will I allow anyone to treat me less then professional .I didn't make a big deal out of it because ,I recorded it and will ad it as evidence in my pending lawsuit .I was in awww ,.My husband said " good for you but the manager stood up and that shows he's professional .Will you please forward my wife the video because I'm going to write a Yelp review and I'm reporting this location to the B.B.B. They made my iced drink hot and dropped my bagel on the ground... the last bagel. I love to write good reviews but I could not avoid commenting on this. They did apologize several times... there is just a lack of enthusiasm and care that cannot go unnoticed. Usually Starbucks are just known as Starbucks. However, we're unique in St. Louis and this location is often called "the Starbucks that used to be a bank." It's pretty much your standard Starbucks with a bit more seating than normal. They have a few patio tables and a a decent amount of indoor seating. You'll see an abnormal amount of students studying here. I don't think there are many colleges nearby so I suppose they're high schoolers? Anyways, I don't really go to Starbucks very often but this one ain't so bad. Except if you're into drive throughs....CAUSE THERE AIN'T NONE! read more
