My gf and I always make a stop here before we go to Capitola Wharf. We order the same thing every time, "tall white mocha with an extra shot". And depending on the weather we either get it hot or cold. The baristas here are always nice to us and treat us as if we are regulars here. Mind you we've only been here a handful of times and they already know what we're going to order. Guess we keep coming back to this specific Starbucks anytime we're in the Capitola area because of their great service and because they always make our drinks perfect. This Starbucks isn't like the others where you order the same drink you ordered the day before and for some reason it taste a little different. Great customer service!!! Yayyy! read more

this is probably one of the worst starbucks i've ever been too. the baristas are rude and the service is slow. my friend ordered an iced drink and instead got a hot one. so, she politely let the barista know that she had ordered an iced drink and his whole demeanor changed. we waited for a good 30-45 mins for her iced drink to be made. read more

I love Starbucks. I live right by this Starbucks and the one located in the Mall. I choose this particular Starbucks whenever I have the option because of the atmosphere and it is on my way to the freeway in the morning. I love coming in and talking to Andrew (he is the one you are probably thinking is Australian. I think he is more English?) Anyways, doesn't matter. Like other reviews state, he remembers my name, my drink, my face, my boyfriends drink, my boyfriends name and always manages to be smiling, happy and very cheerful. Always asks about my week/weekend/job/new apartment...He is pretty awesome, def one of the reasons I come there. It's always nice to start my morning off with a cheerful greeting by not only him but all his coworkers seem exceptionally warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend this location to everyone. The service is fast and always correct. If something is missing or incorrect they brew you a new-exact-to-your-order drink on the spot. They have regulars that I see come in the same time as me and I am sure for some of the same reasons. They have regular customers who stay and chat and drink coffee there that are even friendly! read more

Well the beverages at every Starbucks is about the same, but the service at this particular Starbucks is always phenomenal! I used to come in almost every morning on my way to work and the staff got to know my name and even my drink. Also, my company used to send us over there every Friday with a long list of drinks for everyone in the office and the staff took it in stride and smiled while they accommodated our large order. Every time i have been to this location the staff has always been as quick as you can be, and very sweet especially for what I can imagine is probably a stressful work environment based on there demand and product turn around with a smile attitude. I went in today during a rush hour and was helped out by a gal named Sally, I was extremely impressed with her composure and get it done work ethic, it seemed that the other employees must have been new and I am sure everyone can understand what those times are like. I used to try and pretend to be anti-starbucks, but the reality is that you cannot avoid this place. The coffee sucks, I never get the drip. BUT-- I do get a venti nonfat starbucks doubleshot with 3 pumps of vanilla. Yes, I realize I sound like a typical starbucks snob when ordering, but any variation just ruins it... and even though it is a chain, no two baristas will make it the same. This is my favorite location to visit, the people already know me, parking is a breeze, and there's rarely a long line unless its a sunny and warm beach day flocked with tourists. Rip off! I got a grande strawberry refresher and it was filled to the top with ice. Grande drinks are suppose to be 16 ounces- when I dumped out all the fluid into a measuring cup. I only got 7 ounces!! Less than a cup. If you get a refresher or any iced beverage ask for no ice and get ice from home as this place just rips you off. Good customer service. I love my Starbucks Caramel Frappacuino with extra caramel to be made with love and presentation is key. I pay that extra 25 cents to have the caramel drizzled just right so it looks all pretty. Some baristas get it, some dont, they met me half way this time. One of the best starbucks in the area. Staff is friendly and coffee and espresso are always tasty. The manager (shit manager??) is friendly and willing to answer any questions. Their are other coffee shops that make you feel like you should be thankful for their wonderful artisonal coffee. But this starbucks is on point price wise and quality. Go here for your daily coffee and check out the smaller roasters for a treat once in a while. read more

I've been going here for years. They have great service and strive to make your order right. Professional courteous baristas, and a clean inviting store. They are rarely backed up to where you aren't out in 5 minutes or less for the morning rush. Management here does a great job training their staff. read more
