Best. Starbucks. Ever. Tons of tables and seating. Hot actor-wanna-be-barrista-boys. They bring around trays with pastry and drink samples (pairings that 'compliment' one another - I will say puh-leeze to that). Easy parking in an actual lot (they share a large lot with Bob's Big Boy around back). Everyone is cordial and well dressed. I saw a much lower percentage of men/boys sporting skinny jeans here that at any other greater Los Angeles area Starbucks I have visited. All Starbucks are Not Created Equal - Yep! GPS of The Store The layout is superb and is my favorite Starbucks for service and ambiance here in Los Angeles. Plenty of comfy tables and chairs (though it gets full around 11 - 2pm with the Movie Studio crowds) and inside you have a delightful choice of leather chairs grouped together for an intimate friend gathering - a couple of high top tables next to the windows and against the front side wall (but the high top tables are too small (around 12 inches and only large enough for two coffees) - and plenty of high tops at the sandwich and coffee bars as well as plenty of tables for 2, free wi-fi (though AT&T speeds are very slow when the store is half full) and very plenteous plug-ins for your device recharging. Da Man of Bucks' Love this particular Starbucks and Peter is one of the best Managers that I have ever seen and that comes from over 30 years of my personal experience as a Customer, Restaurant Manager and Creator as well as a Corporate Trainer for Pizza Hut and The Olive Garden. Peter gives wonderful and tasteful personal accents to the store - for example flowers in vases at the Sandwich Bar area and during holidays and events there are more than just corporate accents that are tasteful, visual delights and unobtrusive to the Corporate Motif - Starbucks should have Peter travel the US as a Designer to help each store come up with a few personality accents that make each store its own and more a part of each Community as he has the right flare for it and gets compliments from other Customers as well. Most of the staff there have been around for more than 2 years and in this day and age of turnover in restaurant and retail - THIS speaks volumes for the Starbucks corporate culture which I have actively supported for nearly 20 years now and Peter and his entire staff - Adam, Dan - Michelle, Eric, Rick, Marty and many other great kids there and I wish that I could go there more often like I used to. They have a patented machine and an intelligent system for getting much more flavor out of the same beans by the Clover process - it uses any of the beans that they have including the new blonde coffees which are great without cream as they are creamy and light enough for non - coffee drinkers who like the coffee taste but not the rich roasting process that made Starbucks famous. Sweets, Treats - Repeats For a nearly guilt-free indulgence try their small chocolate or pink icing donuts which are under a buck and give you just enough of a treat without overdoing the calories or sugar. They also have some new min-treats for less than $2 bucks that give you the Decadent dessert style tastings with small, rich portions that are also easy on the waste and the wallet. Man of La Muncha! I pushed for sandwiches at the Bucks WAY back in the mid 90's in Westwood near UCLA and after a few launch and retreats and refinements - they are getting much better though still priced too high and the selection now leans hard to Paninis - Here's where they should get together with Trader Joe's and learn from them - Quality, Great Taste and pricing that is more in line with TJs. Caveat Emptour - lol WARNING - If you go there on Fridays after 3pm and on as Bob's Big Boy has a Classic Car show and there is no way to park unless you walk a block or two. Say what you want about the corporate monster taking over, but I REALLY LIKE this place. Everyone who works here is so nice, courteous and friendly and the coffee is always strong, tasty and fresh. I recently made an ass of myself by spilling a huge cup of coffee all over myself and my friend and not only were they completely understanding and nice about it, they apologized to me for my own clumsiness, refilled my coffee and gave me a coupon for a free one next time I come in! One tiny complaint I have is that they have a new menu and it doesn't include the raspberry swirl pound cake. I would look forward to this from the night before knowing I was going there in the morning. Other then that, this place rocks! Thank you guys! read more

Second Starbucks to go to that had a broken Nitro Cold Brew handle/machine. They really need to stop advertising this product if they're not going to offer it. Not only that, but the staff here sucks!! They're indifferent to the disappointment/let down their customers' experience when what they actually want to order is not available, and almost annoyed that we didn't want a damn unicorn frappacino. They were obviously indifferent on the inconvenience and when we actually did order their regular cold brew, it was 90% water! WTH Starbucks?? I have been coming to this location off and on for 15 years? Yesterday I stopped by and noticed the new remodel, and they now have a CLOVER MACHINE! Be sure to try a Clover drink next time you visit. I can't believe that Starbucks didn't notify Gold Card members in the area of this development, because a Clover machine is supposed to generate the best cup of coffee on earth! I certainly would have stopped by earlier if I had known there was one here! This place is horrible. I went here today and I had a big order and they acted like it was the most inconvenient thing I could ever do. I had about 8 drinks and they didn't get me a box so I had to do 4 trips to my car. Second I had to ask for coasters which pissed them off so much. They sighed and were ridiculously dramatic. I come to read at this Starbucks while waiting around the area to meet a friend or pick up my mom. The parking lot is great, it shares a parking lot with the Bob's next door. Just make sure you don't come on a Friday when there's a car show. It's packed. Very hard to find parking on those days. The baristas here have a tendencies to not ask for your name, but that's due to the fact that they generally don't get that many orders at one time so they just call out the order instead. I've had my drinks made wrong or not to my liking a couple of times, but it is what it is. If you don't like it tell the barista and they can correct it for you. I come into this Starbucks often. There is a large parking lot in the back that it shares with the other restaurants in the space. So finding parking is never an issue. Lots of tables, and nice couches and cushioned seats by the door. Plenty of tables outside as well. Just a few weeks ago, I started off at a table using the Wi-Fi with my netbook. And moved my coffee and snack to one of the cushioned seats to get comfy and read a book. Nice place to hang out. read more

StarBob's--my fave! This well-appointed, (seriously), Starbuck's is co-located with Bob's Big Boy, hence the locals call the place "StarBob's". The service is good, even though they seem to always be busy. I've used their free wifi as my "Burbank office" while killing time in between meetings. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, but sometimes outdoors becomes a smoker's paradise. Fun place to have an espresso drink. read more

There is a car show and it takes up all the parking spots). the staff is friendly and they know how to keep the line moving in the mornings. If you get no water in your iced tea, most likely they won't shake it. It's a bit loud, but you will love the decor. Good crowd, it has high counter-tops (which are always a +) and they let you do what you need to - to get your work done. It's Starbucks....what more do you need to say? Their coffee is good, their tea is good. They have free WIFI. Just like every other Starbucks. Their morning/afternoon staff has for the most part always been very friendly and timely although I have had to deal with a few unnecessarily long wait times for a black coffee. It does always seem to be busy and finding parking can be a total pain in the butt. Honestly, you're better off parking a few blocks away then trying to fight the Bob's Big Boy traffic in their shared lot. read more

Jared (excuse me if I've spelled the name wrong) is simply THE BEST. He's the reason for my 5 stars. Always gives excellent service. Jared is one of the staff members that gives this chain coffee a personal touch, and neighborhood feel. The rest of the staff is great, however I do wish everyone had go go to the "Jared School". When it comes down to the coffee, I'm not saying it's the best coffee ever, but the coffee is consistent. That is why I choose Starbucks in the morning. Starbucks is Starbucks pretty much anywhere, but this is one of my favorites. Only thing I wish would be added to the condiment section is a thermos of Whole Milk. That's it. Good times! read more

They are usually very friendly and fast with their drive through service but at times they could be rather slow ( it does get busy with a lot of customers at certain times) and they do hire some rude baristas sometimes. Please don't give me attitude when I ask for extra caramel or other sauces/toppings you can charge me extra but please don't get mad at me as if it's coming out of you're paycheck. read more

There is ample seating, both indoors and out. The baristas are friendly, fast, and good at what they do. The clientele is diverse and normally in good spirits. I LOVE THIS STARBUCKS!!!! I go there all the time! OBSESSED!!! My venti caramel frap is usually made to perfection! I agree with another reviewer who said Jared is the best! My only beef with this starbucks was when I had an interaction with a certain new hire. I assume she must be a new hire. My drink just didn't taste right (I get the same thing basically every day so i know what it tastes like). I asked her to remake it and she begrudgingly agreed. I am not sure but it just seems everytime i see her there that she has an attitude, with customers and her fellow workers. Maybe Starbucks just isn't the job for her! read more

I usually go to this Starbucks on Sat. and Sun. mornings out of convenience, since I work out those mornings down the street. (Usually I go to the airport one during the week, where everyone is extremely nice). The baristas at this one (next to Bob's) always seem unhappy, stressed, and impatient. I usually mobile order though, so I pick up my coffee and leave. This Sunday however, I didn't mobile order and went inside. Same story, the cashier looks like she just broke up with the love of her life, and the baristas look unhappy and stressed out. NEWS FLASH! If you are that miserable with your job, then get another one. I'm sorry that you have to work as a barista and you don't like dealing with the public (obviously), but then don't be a barista! Part of your job is to be nice and helpful to customers! Especially when I spend thousands of dollars at the Starbucks establishment! Here is where my problem lies...I ordered a water with extra ice and an sweet cream cold brew with extra ice and extra cream. The water came out with hardly any ice. I tried to get the barista's (Erin) attention, but none of them look at you, not even when they give you your drink. Since she wouldn't acknowledge me, I figured I'd drink some of the water to allow for more ice to put in when she had a second and I could ask her. Then she had my coffee in her hand and I could see she was straining to read the cup, as the coffee was already in there (maybe look at the notes before you put the coffee in!). I could see it was a pretty full cup so I wanted to spare her the time and make sure she put extra ice in it. I said, "Is that one for Alicia?" She goes..."JUST A SECOND" all annoyed. She put the ice in and I quickly told her that I wanted extra ice in it, so she took the whole venti iced coffee, walked over to the sink angrily and threw it full force into the sink...all the coffee down the drain! What a waste! I politely told her that she didn't have to throw the whole thing out and she exclaimed, "WELL!" I said, "That was dumb...I just wanted extra ice put in it." Her barista friend with red hair shot me a dirty look. I asked if I could have extra ice in the water and she was even more irritated. I let her know I had asked for extra ice when I ordered, it wasn't like I was just trying to be a pain. She said something to the effect of, "Well you accepted it." Yah, I accepted the water so I could drink some and just ask you to put some extra ice in. I was trying to be helpful, as I appreciate what people in customer service have to deal with. I waited tables for years before I finished college and began my career, and I would never have behaved this way to a customer. From now on I will travel farther down the street to the one in the Von's parking lot, as they have always been really nice. Someone needs to talk to these baristas and let them know how to be nice and helpful to their customers. read more
