I recently moved to the Sarasota/Bradenton area and have gone to a few Starbucks in the area. This particiular location, just off I-75 and on SR-70 is not only convenient to where I work, the Baristas are outstanding! Usually, I will visit via the drive thru and Sonia, Navaid and China make me feel welcome from the moment I pull up. The acknowledge me by name and always have a kind word. China is FANTATIC! Her enthusiasm, energy and Customer Service always makes me pull off with a smile! Even though they may get busy at times, they navigate visitors through the Drive Thru line with efficiency and accuracy. Third attempt over the past year at this location. No good experience to date. This is one of your slower Starbucks in the area, it took 16 minutes for a croissant and coffee and that's after I approached the counter to check on my order and was met with a couple of unfriendly ladies that seemed unhappy and unapologetic, a little chaotic around the drive thru area, but whatever. I went there twice so far, one Sunday was noon time and There were not many people. The old lady who helped me was friendly enough. I ordered Matcha Latte with extra Matcha and add Vanilla Syrup to get some sweet. Sometimes matcha can be bitter. And she went extra miles with looking for a Florida mug at the back because I was looking for a Starbucks merchandise. I like the size of the place and it wasn't so busy so it was quiet. Yes, while you can certainly get most or all of the options that any Starbucks has, this location is kind of tired and run down. Part of the reason that many people pay extra to get their coffee and other pick me up drinks at a Starbucks, is the high quality experience they expect to receive. This location has lost that. I also find it odd that you can't see this place from the main road (70). The trees block the building so I didn't even know it was here for years. I walked in place my order. The lady in the register was nice very helpful when it came to Stephanie the employee she had a dog shit face. I drive thru this Starbucks a few times a month. Depending on when you go, you might catch the lady at the speaker who must have had several shots of espresso to do her job. She's super upbeat and takes your order in a singsongy voice. Sometimes, its a little over the top - but she's really nice and you can't help but smile because she's just so different. My coffee is always ready once I get up to the window. Service is fast. My order is always special and I'm impressed they can understand my order which sounds like it's another language. I normally order a sugar free vanilla breve latte or a sugar free cinnamon dolce latte - with whipped cream. Normally, I am not a plain vanilla girl, so its the cinnamon for me. I do wish they would have more sugar free flavors to choose from. It's a bummer when you can't have sugar and you see all of these amazing ads for pumpkin spice and you can't have any! All in all, this is a good location with good service! I give this Starbucks a 4 and it would totally have a 5 if they offered more sugar free coffee flavors! read more

The people that work there are so nice, however, it's dirty. The outdoor tables are not wiped down. We took my father-in-law there. We took him out from his memory care because he loves Starbucks and he wanted to sit outside, but we couldn't because the tables were so disgusting and so were the chairs. Of course we made the best out of it but it's so expensive and I can't believe that it's so dirty. God knows when it was cleaned last. Is there any management there to care? We hit up this Starbucks after staying at the Country Inn. If you do stay there, make sure you turn left in the parking lot so you don't have to go all the way under 75 then make a U turn to get there. If you turn left you can take the light and get to it faster. Typical Starbucks. They stopped taking reusable mugs because of the Corona Virus but they still gave me my $.10 cup discount, so yay for that. It was pretty fast and the bathrooms were clean. While each Starbucks strives to have and give the best service to their customers, what happens when good employees begin to leave a job because of the nature of management in that particular Starbucks Store. ? The 53rd and 41 store in Bradenton is a classic example of poor district management and poor store management. Time and time again, excellent staff leave after a period of time, no firing, nor probation but simply as I have heard before "cannot stand how the store is run" That is very sad, considering the actions In Philadelphia recently, customer care is vital in a store where service is important. If there is a district manager responsible for this store, where is he/ she? the front of the store patio is always filthy, no trash can, filth, spit, vomit, animal feces, I have seen it all on that patio - it is continually filled with homeless taking phone charge time, sleeping in the chairs, both inside and outside the store. Daily the storefront needs hosed, power washed, scrubbed and trash and cigarette part picked up, the parking lot in all of the stores is a cigarette trash pit. When the filth is complained about, the answer appears, we have not water out there and we do not have permission for a power wash job every week - buy a small washer and do it yourselves Starbucks manager. Love the company, have some stock, love the friendly people but someplace and somewhere management and store checkup is very lacking. When will it be fixed I wonder - maybe close it down and move further east or west nearby. read more

HOW is this location always crowded?! Come any time during the day and the parking lot is over capacity and the cars outflow onto the driveway. A little inconvenience: they close at 8pm on Sundays instead of the usual 10pm. Place is always packed; even though it's huge, finding a seat is difficult. The drive through also looks congested. This discourages me to order anything from here. Seats include communal tables, couches, individual tables, outdoor seating. But when I do order, the staff is very friendly, reasonably fast-- who can blame them? They've got such a high volume of orders to make. Drinks made within 5 minutes. Maybe if I need a place to study, I'll try the Dunkin Donuts across the street. read more

Most unfriendly baristas in any starbucks I have ever visited. They don't even announce that a mobile order is ready for pickup like they do in all other stores. You are forced to wait for an opportunity to ask if your order is ready. Which in my case took like ten minutes. When I did ask I was chastised for not asking. Came to this location as it's across the street from the hotel I was staying at with my wife and 2 daughters. Now, I am not a coffee drinker, and to find me at a Starbucks is even more odd for those that know me...but my wife and kids, that's a whole other story. After ordering, my wife explained to me about the odd names on the cups and why. She chose the name Donald Trump...ok I get it. She was very disappointed when the barista chose not to read her name but to quickly toss her drink on the counter in a half a** manner, call the drink type as she was already walking back to make someone elses. My wife uttered something about not saying her name, as she was disappointed not to hear it after explaining it to me. On the way out the door, another male barista made a rude comment back...really?? We spend $22 on 4 drinks and you want to be rude to your customers? This Starbucks is generally great but there is a specific employee who has never made my drink correctly ever. I ask for the same beverage every time I go and every other barista never has a problem with it. He always misunderstands me multiple times and even when I correct him and he says he understand he still gives the wrong beverage to me. I have sent drinks back before and still gotten the wrong one. A couple of my friends and family members agree that he messes up their order every time. This Starbucks needs to get stricter on their expectations for their employees because it's inconsistent for the company. It's also unpleasant for the customer to have to say their order half a dozen times, send it back when it's wrong the first time, and then still get it wrong on the second try. For how pricey Starbucks can be they should really situate the way employees work with customers. read more
