I ordered the Chai Tea latte and it wasn't as sweet as I wanted it to be (maybe spoiled by Starbucks) but it was still refreshing enough. But the ambiance here is so NYC. It's quiet, there's some lovely jazz playing from the speakers, and if you're feeling sophisticated, you can scour through their wide collection of GQ and Esquire along with some spiffy Turkish architecture magazines. It's the perfect place to bring a small party of friends who want to lounge and chit chat or take your lady friend if you want to leave an impression on her.

I stumbled into this restaurant after a grueling flight to Ankara. Hungry and tired I expected a quick sub-par meal. What I got was an enchanting, warm experience with absolutely delicious food. Located in front of the restaurant, the garden is indeed large and like a sanctuary with its canopied tables and cozy seats. Lots of plants / trees and a fish-inhabited fountain make it charming. The street slopes upward so walls afford guests some privacy. I can't recall the food we actually ate because my friend and I were so disappointed that we were denied our first and second preferences. The waitstaff didn't even offer any concessions to compensate for the big let-down. :( not cool! Good thing my companion is a higher priority than food, drink or ambiance in my memory book!
