Was looking for an American-style car wash, and basically found it. It's a gas station with a car wash tunnel (part manual, part automated), and a vacuuming area off to one side.
The gas station is a typical gas station - nothing interesting there. It has like 12 pumps and a small convenience store where you pay after pumping. If you want a car wash, you can pay at the same time you buy your gas, or you can just drive to the car wash entrance (which is around the back of the convenience store), and pay there.
The car wash offers a bunch of levels of service (I picked the cheapest one for 7.50 €), and when you drive in, some guys spray your car down manually, then help you get set up for the machine (put it in Neutral, foot off the brake, windows up, etc.), and ride through a tunnel of bubbles. The last step is a blow dry, so your car comes out relatively dry.
The vacuuming area is set up with 6-8 vacuums. You get 4 mins for 50 cents, or 8 minutes for one Euro. Pretty straightforward, and the vacuum really sucks! (In a good way.) People seem to use this vacuuming area for all kinds of extra cleaning and detailing (raised hoods, etc), so I had to wait a little while for a spot to open up, but it was only a few minutes. read more
