No apology for the inconvenience even when the taxi was 20 minutes late. Worst customer service I've had in ages! Despite the driver's best attempts (and bless him, he did try) I missed my train and had to pay £60 for new ticket. If you can't get a customer to a train in the middle of the day, how do you handle airport runs?!

On the last journey, an M1 closure resulted in the journey time/distance tripling, but still they honoured the price. Two of the pickups were from Download Festival (85,000 attendance) and despite the drivers being approached by other desperate festival-goers, the cars waited for us. If you need a reliable booking to Donington or East Midlands airport, I would recommend these guys. I don't normally leave reviews for taxi companies, but I am that relieved everything went well at the weekend, this is a small thank you :)

I also stand in awe of them as the office seems to be the last place in Christendom where you can still smoke. Well, the switch operator does anyway. Some of the drivers can be a bit grumpy, but some are very nice as you'd expect. The office itself is uber grotty, which explains why everyone waits on the street. But it's reasonably cheap and it does the job so I can't really complain.

They quoted me £47 (Leicester to Birmingham)…read more When I asked for the receipt after the trip they gave a receipt for £56, saying they now need to add VAT. They subcontract jobs out and their subcontractors give jobs to other subcontractors. I arrived in Birmingham on 10 November 2017 at 9:30pm and I was told that the driver would be waiting at arrivals but the message to pick me up from arrivals got lost in multiple subcontracting. Eventually someone did pick me up at 10pm in the car park after I had made several calls. The owner of this company, was boorish, rude, unsympathetic. He (incorrectly) surmised that since I was not happy with the service I might not pay the fare, so he passed on a message to the subcontractor to get my fare upfront and if I refuse, let me off at the side of the road.
