I've almost never met a Grape Leaf dish I didn't like so I had to try their version. They did an amazing job with the aesthetics, using a creamy vegan tahini sauce to really bring this dish to that next level. I also ordered Baba Ghannoj. Surprisingly, they advised their pita bread is not vegan but they gladly substituted roti instead, super flavorful and great mix of textures dancing around on the palette. For a main dish, I heard their "Vegetarian Thali" dish calling to me (but thankfully, it didn't call me Seymour .. .. .. ), giving me the opportunity to try a myriad of flavors and combinations. Given that a couple of components weren't vegan, they were graciously able to accommodate .. and provide me with a fully vegan ncombination of (from left to right) Aloo Chana, Dal Maharanji, Aloo Gobi, Basmati Rice and more delicious roti bread.
