They're truly sweet and kind people who work very hard and are excellent at what they do. They have a small salon, but it is always very clean. They will always fit you in as a walk-in if possible. They've given me discounts for the smallest things like waiting a little bit of extra time (which is no big deal)! They make getting your nails done feel like hanging out with friends. First time visit. I called ahead to see if there was a wait. There wasn't. I arrived and was immediately greeted and seated in chair for a pedicure. It started out ok until the young lady performing my pedicure started trimming the nails and the skin around my toes. There was a plastic liner in the foot bowl to start but after the massage she removed it and placed my feet in the bare bowl. I was very uncomfortable regarding this but decided not to say anything about it. I also had requested to have my eyebrows waxed. Upon entering the room. The table where I was supposed to lay down on had paper covering that had been used so I just stood there. The worker pulled out a roll that was empty from under the cabinet and proceeded to tell me it was okay and I could lay on the cloth covering. I refused and followed her to the register where I paid for my pedicure. I got in my car and drove to the grocery store not far from there. I reached down to put on my sandals and touched my feet that still had the same texture as before. Whereas I was not expecting my feet to be perfect but this is the same results I get with my home tool. On top of that my big toe along the nail is sore and my middle toe. I flinched when she was clipping the skin around them. I came home and decided to soak my feet again and used an antibacterial pain relief cream on my toes. May I add I had not had a professional pedicure in years but I do try to take care of my feet. I gave three stars because everyone was super friendly. read more

I went around the time they opened on a Saturday. Immediately when I walked in the 4 workers all said hello to me and greeted me. I was sat down very quickly and was given a complimentary drink and amazing customer service. The lady doing my pedicure helped me decide what would be best for me and always made sure I was okay all throughout. My pedicure was perfect. I then got my manicure by another lady and that experience was 11/10! She was very nice and helpful throughout the process of deciding designs and color choices with me so that I was at the most happiest after. My sister and I always go for a nails and a pedicure together. Our regular place one of the really good nail techs moved back to Viet Nam. I tried the replacement person. But she was just not very good. But that is why we walked into Star Nails. We were greeted by MiMi right away. She got us right in without an appointment. We both got pedicures and they excellent. Followed all health procedures and make the pedicure very relaxing and enjoyable. They were very interested in learning how we needed our nails done. My sister need traditional fills and I have to get tips and use the powder dip process. They knew how to do them all. Excellent color selections and my sister even got a beautiful designer nail done that MiMi did for her in the shop. She was thrilled. My nails are difficult to complete the way I need them due to side effects from chemotherapy. Lucas was wonderful and did the best job that I have had in a long time. Also MiMi and Lucas were friendly and very engaging. Lucas had us laughing the whole time. So glad we stopped and gave them a try. Also really reasonably priced. We will be back. read more

I went in on a Sunday at 1230 after calling to check on the wait time. I was told I could come in immediately. After walking into the salon empty of customers, I was placed into a pedicure seat with my feet in warm water. No other customers arrived during my pedicure, I guess Sunday is the day to get your nail and toes done at this salon. My main concern is how rough they were on my feet while getting the callus removal done. My pedicurist wasn't looking and kept talking to the other salon staff while using the tools on the soles of my feet. She cut into the back of my left heel with the coarse grater and irritated the tips of my toes by going too far past the callus with the filer. I am very happy with the result of my nail polish and how long it has lasted but.... I prefer not to come out damaged after what is supposed to be a relaxing experience. read more

Stop going to your regular salon, Star Nails is where you need to be. Kim is so sweet and funny and is definitely a friendly people person. The person who did my nails before I came here obviously made some mistakes, because my nails were popping off less than a week after I'd gotten them done, but Kim showed me exactly what she had done wrong and fixed them! She chatted with me and complimented the color of polish I chose and offered me something to drink immediately. The place was so clean and when I came in she was eating--maybe on break?-- but she stopped right away, cleaned everything up and got started, I don't think I waited 2 minutes. I am In Love with my Tiffany & Co. colored acrylics and the price was SO unbelievably affordable--especially for that good of work. Yes, am visiting from Dallas and was thinking bad idea to go on a Saturday afternoon to get dip powder nails but very few people inside. UPDATE: after one day, the top coat that was placed on my nails (not the right one) my nails started to peel, crack and now they look HORRIBLE! Decent prices for nails and pedicures. They have eyelash extensions on their menu of services but I don't recommend that here. It is an hour process and they are super busy.
