First catch up with old friends, although it presents a professional and eloquent ambiance, it seems to have missed the mark on what newcastle patrons are looking for. It's prices are reasonable and the staff are efficient and presentable.
The bar is noticeably heavy on the peroni products which pushes the feel of clinical and sterile environment, although the happy hour was efficient, the crowd severely diminished and the bar, at 9pm it seemed to be severely tapering off. They have an extensive cocktail list.
The fit out is sleek and professional but gives off the feelings of that corporate cafe you wouldn't revisit. The fact they had a DJ on a Friday night extruded the misplaced attention and feel they are presenting to their patrons.
I appreciated the snappy service and that the food was tasty and prompt. It's a great spot for that after work drink , but unfortunately not much else. read more
