Fortunately, my wife discovered Silipo on Urban Spoon and being out of the way and a little industrial, we were reminded of Melbourne. Well, the coffee is good and Richard, the roaster, has a real passion for his brew. He is very knowledgable and gets to know everyone who visits, personally. It's really refreshing on the coast, where most of the coffee is provided by chains. This small independent roaster is making the right kind of coffee for those people who know something about coffee. Richard even teaches the art of coffee at the cafe! It's the kind of place you go too for the coffee. Highly recommended.

Since it's my first coffee shop in Aussie, I don't really know the norms here, but compared to the US, the chai latte is much lighter, milk creamier, and less sweetened overall (which I prefer). Wifi is a bit spotty but not so much that you can't get work done, and the general demographic on a Thursday morning seems to be a more elderly crowd. Service is cheery and helpful, just like everyone else I've encountered so far in this happy country :)
