I have been coming to this tank stellar for the nine years since I moved into Charlottenberg, it has been our preferred station to gas up the car. Thousands of times with my small dog. Today there was a new bearded man at the counter who started yelling that my small dog came in with me, (on a line). I preceded to leave, and I asked him had something changed? I have been coming here for 9 years with my dog. He repeatedly yelled, like a child on a playground, "verboten" from behind the counter and on my way out I said in a normal tone, not yelling, "ridiculous', as I couldn't believe his behavior, it was both uncivil and unbelievable. Upon my remark he proceeded to run around the corner of the counter and approach me as if he were going to assault me.
Dogs come into many places in Germany that they do not in my own country. I am always grateful and very polite if somebody tells me my dog is not allowed. Nor am I ever rude or would I raise my voice or yell at someone. I am so sad to see that my neighborhood gas station has become a place of infantile yelling and immaturity. I will no longer be spending my money there nor buying gas for my auto. The Shell station is at lest civil. read more
