I had taken my adult disabled son here for a consult for hair removal in his face. I was given a…read morefollow up appointment for spot test to see how he handled it. I got a call the morning of his appointment day stating they had consulted with their doctor and don't think they can treat him due to his disability and lack of pain tolerance! I told them I was disappointed and that they should not assume someone with an intellectual disability has a low pain tolerance. I told them his brother has the same disability and a VERY HIGH pain tolerance. He didn't even complain about a huge abscess above his molar! Caught it with a panoram X-ray. My son does very well with pre meds for dental work yet this place would not even go through with the spot trial like we agreed to. Not impressed.

I visited Steadfast Electrolysis for the first time and Jim was immediately welcoming and knowledgeable. He is fun to mumble to in the way of conversation (because talking while he's prodding at your chin and lip is hard) and his environment is clean and relaxing. I took advantage of his in-office lidocaine for numbing of the upper lip and it was a blessing. After a solid hour and a half of minimal pain, constant checking in, and a full cloth of hairs removed Jim massaged some calming balm into my saddened hair follicles (forget those guys) and I was on my way. By the time I arrived home I was able to wash my face and there was almost no redness or swelling. And what's better is that there was also no hair, no shadow of hair, and no self consciousness about being able to win a beard contest. I'll be back until I don't have to be anymore!
