Thus, I have had my immune system strengthened and I quit prescription allergy meds. I have had stress headaches resolve, muscle spasms relieved and sleep better and more soundly. More importantly, I awaken in the mornings actually refreshed and eager to get up and get on with my day. Sadly, this has not been true for most of the last several years. I haven't had insomnia per se, but very restless sleep due to discomfort and anxiety. I am the primary caretaker for an elderly relative and find it very, very stressful. I truly believe that my treatments make me able to be optimistic and cheerful in my home care. Without the stress relief and tension relaxation I get from acupuncture, I believe a nursing home would be more appropriate only because of MY response to the stress. Having been in an auto accident some years back, I used acupuncture to rid me of a cane and a shuffling gait, so I am quite familiar with acupuncturists, styles, knowledge, Chinese and Japanese, and the ability of the licensed practitioner. Jason is one of the very best in my 18 years/6 states experience! He answers my questions thoroughly, makes suggestions and LISTENS to my comments. Medical doctors are in my immediate family, so I talk medicine a lot, but he has thought of things that never occurred to me. The relief from arthritis in my neck that I get from acupuncture and ESPECIALLY the HERBS is unbelievable. I had actually forgotten what it feels like to have no pain when I turn my neck! I am so impressed by the long-term relief that I get from the herbs, that I am beginning to think of reaching for them before a hot pack or an ibuprofen.
