Dr. Stanley Cohen, DMD, when he was practicing dentistry with his protege, Dr. Jonathan Orenstein, DDS, in Cherry Hill, NJ, literally destroyed all of my top molars on the top left and right quadrants by incorrectly crowning the teeth. He also nearly destroyed a bottom left quadrant bicuspid, which was salvaged by Professor Najeed Saleh, DMD at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia. The bottom right bicuspid was nearly destroyed by his protege, Dr. Orenstein, which was also salvaged by Professor Najeed Saleh, DMD in Philadelphia, who is the dean of the school of dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania. The cost, including the crown lengthening (never mind the pain, suffering, and loss of time, work, and financial resources) surgical procedure performed on each of these bicuspid teeth, is approximately $6,000 per tooth [$2,200 for each crown lengthening surgical procedure and $3,450 for Dr. Najeed's superior restorative work, involving the building of a core, the designing of a core and post sleeve, and a very aesthetically pleasing porcelain and gold crown.] Thanks to Dr. Stanley Cohen, all of my top molars were replaced with surgical dental implants at $3,000 per implant in addition to three other teeth, which should have been crowned, but were not. To make a long story short, Dr. Stanley Cohen's shoddy work caused at least $70,000 of unending surgical procedures, immense pain and suffering, in addition to severe disfigurement. To put it mildly, a top second-year dental student at Penn would be better off working on his or her own teeth than having either Drs. Cohen or Orenstein working on their teeth. By destroying the upper molars, the front teeth were also destroyed -- something every competent dentist knows will occur. Dr. Stanley Cohen admitted he performed the work incorrectly, but has yet to financially compensate me. I would honestly say that a patient would be better off having their dental work performed by a student at Penn Dental School under the supervision of a professor rather than having Drs. Cohen or Orenstein perform the necessary straightforward, uncomplicated work in one's mouth. What should have been a simple procedure turned into a disaster with catastrophic ramifications and results. The patient may have minor problems and simple procedures to be performed; but once Dr. Cohen goes to work in the patient's mouth, the patient will lose most, if not all, of his or her teeth with devastating consequences to the patient's life and career. STAY AWAY FROM DR. COHEN, DMD, LIKE YOU WOULD AVOID THE EBOLA VIRUS! read more
