I am so grateful to have found Brian and to have had numerous intensive lessons with him before the exam. I have been teaching for a long time myself, and I can say first hand that Brian is an amazing teacher. Not only was he attentive to my specific mathematical needs, I could also tell he was very invested in wanting me to do well. Brian never made me feel like anything was too difficult or unattainable. He explained all my questions in depth and was always very concerned with making sure I understood everything. Even if that meant going over it again...and again. Brian helped me make diagrams for a statistics research project I was working on as part of my degree in Psychology. I was later asked to present that project at a honors convention my college was hosting. I am sure that his elaborate graphs/diagrams and extensive knowledge in statistics which he imparted contributed to that. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, fluent in every math concept known to man, enthusiastic, patient, efficient, eloquent and kind tutor--look no further. Brian was so instrumental to my success on the GREs and in boosting my confidence. I never thought I would be able to comprehend half the concepts I did. I strongly recommend Elite Ivy Tutors and Brian if you are looking to invest in a tutor. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. Going back to high school, I had a terrific experience working with Advantage on my college entrance exams. Even though I hated studying in school, I genuinely enjoyed working with AT's teachers. Aside from being gifted instructors, they are some of the friendliest people you'll meet, and they seem to genuinely care about their students. I remember they customized a study plan for me, focusing on the areas of the test that I needed to improve the most. Following their plan, and using the strategies I learned in class, I earned a 760 Verbal, 750 Math I, 790 Writing, and an 800 Math II, all a significant boost above my diagnostic scores (which I recall being in the low ~600 range). Years later, when I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer, and began looking for the right LSAT test prep service, turning to Advantage was a no-brainer. On my first LSAT practice test, I received a diagnostic evaluation in the 55th percentile. I knew that I would need a significant (aka Elle Woods-level) jump in my LSAT score to have a decent shot at the top schools. That's when Advantage came in. Studying with Advantage tutors, you learn to break down each section of the test into a set of consistent techniques, which you hone and solidify over repeated practice tests. After months of test prep, I took the LSAT and scored a 99th percentile on the official exam. Equipped with a great LSAT score, I was admitted to my top choice for law school, a feat that had seemed impossible only a few months prior. Now, as a practicing attorney looking back on it, I am certain I would not have been nearly as well prepared with any other test prep service. In sum, I don't think there is anyone as professional or effective as Advantage when it comes to the hard work of preparing for high-stakes entrance exams. I recommend them without hesitation.

He did very, very well on the exam, and I give much of the credit to Nataliya (the rest of credit goes to my son, who worked very hard!). Going into this, we had reason for deep concern about his prospects. Well, we got the scores yesterday and they are outstanding. Thank you, Nataliya! On a personal level, Nataliya worked wonderfully with him. She is incredibly patient, and seems to have great instincts for how to work with different children. She worked with my daughter as well, just not as much, and clearly tailored her presentation to the nature of the child she was working with. (It bears mentioning that my son has some learning issues, which she clearly grasped and adapted to very effectively.) From a practical perspective, the virtual tutoring worked exceptionally well for my son. His generation is often more inclined to interact with others online than in person, and that is especially true for him. The flexibility afforded by the remote sessions was terrific - weekends in particular - making it much easier for him to keep up with, and follow through on, the lessons. I would enthusiastically recommend Nataliya to any student searching for help with the challenges of navigating today's high school workload!

When I reached out to Beck a few months ago, immediately I received a Google Doc with a detailed plan and cost information. On this document, were the experiments the kids would do with links to view them. Each child would go home with one completed experiment. Her communication is spot on. She replies the same day, sometimes minutes after I email or text. I wanted to make sure the experiments were cost effective and could be done socially distant outside and everyone would have individual supplies. Her experiments were that exactly! She showed up at my house with her mask on as promised to help keep the parents/kids pleased and safe. She came 30 minutes prior and set up everything. She gave my son a card and a little game to play. She walked him through each experiment and area of the yard where each experiment would occur. After the kids arrived, she played a coding/pattern game with them using floor dots. After a few rounds, they were ready for their first experiment. They were fascinated and some were taken back at putting a sharpened pencil through a plastic bag full of water. They put as many pencils as possible through the bag. Then, made a guess on what would happen when they ran fast or slow. After everything was cleaned up they moved to the next station for their next experiment. The kids always were moving to a different location whether it was sitting or standing. They used food coloring, milk and a q tip to create a masterpiece. Again, the kids were fascinated and had so much fun. Then, went to the side yard to experiment with soda rockets. This was fun and messy but the kids loved the result! They wanted more and more bottles of coke. While I filled some bottles of water for their final take home lava lamps, she played a little game with them. After, she explained the experiment, asked the children why things are happening the way they were, what was happening, what is going to happen next. Again, the kids were so thrilled. Not only were they having fun at a birthday party they were learning. After clean up, the kids played Simon Says with her so I could get some creative photos. Beck stayed longer and was sooo thorough with everything. She cleaned up everything. She gave the kids some more alka seltzer in their goodie bags to activate their lava lamp at home at night. Every experiment Beck gave very clear directions and explained everything, and answered any questions. She challenged them as they were seeing results. She is an amazing teacher and very detailed orientated. Anthony was very very impressed with her and loved every minute of his party. He is already asking for Beck to come for next years birthday party. Everyone was very impressed with her skills.
