Recently had a tattoo done by Jacob. This is a tattoo I had put a few years of thought into While I had the basic artwork in mind he did a great job of developing the artwork. Well, Let me start off by saying, I am the husband of MC who posted the 1 star review on our experience with this business and the father of the handicapped young lady we took for her first tattoo. I guess this business does not handle handicapped people very nice. I was there when my wife attempted to explain politely how my daughter is handicapped. The female owner for some unknown reason flipped out and very rudely said to my teenage handicapped daughter, "Your Fricken My Out, Get Out of My Shop." When my wife asked why, she rudely stated, "You Guys Are Freaking me Out, Get The Hell Out of My Shop." We Than Left with my Daughter balling her eyes out. Let me also tell everyone, my wife does many reviews of businesses and does NOT give many bad ones, look for yourselves. I had email holly about settling an appointment, sent her a few pictures of what my thoughts were and her feed back was she could absolutely quoted me 700 and I asked for a in person consultation to make sure our vibe matched and we were good with placement.... she set up a time since I work over nights, I agree. respectful of her time I had drove 45 mins, found a sitter and was early.... when I was told she had decided not to come in because her appointment had move so he said he'd do my consultation... quoted me what she did for my arm for just my forearm... I'm glade I didn't pay a deposit before meeting in person. it was a waist of time!! read more

I don't know why there have been bad reviews said about this business. I have gotten multiple tattoos here since 2017 and I have loved every single one of them and refer standard electric tattooing to anyone who asks me about tattoos. Not only are the tattoos gorgeous but the experience and family feel are amazing as well. I would not go anywhere else and I think that the price for the quality is completely worth it. Just walked out of this shop and my daughter is in tears. The woman who called herself the owner, Holly, I believe, was so shitty. We drove all the way from Meriden to ask Jerod do her first tattoo. She was very excited and knew exactly what she wanted. As I was trying to explain what my daughter wanted and when we could make an appointment she became agitated because I was the one speaking, not my daughter. My daughter is very shy and suffers from anxiety, she has extreme difficulty talking to new people, but Holly was insisting that my daughter speak. I tried to explain, but she went batshit on us for no reason and literally kicked us out of her shop. I was shocked that she lost her shit and was so irrational over something so small. Her behavior was weird an erratic. Maybe there's something wrong with her, maybe she hates Mexicans or maybe she's just a bitch, either way, I wouldn't recommend this tattoo shop to anyone. If you don't know how to deal with people from all backgrounds who aren't just like you, maybe you shouldn't be in business! I hate you for how you made my daughter feel, you have no idea how hard it was for her to even walk in there. Basically, you suck giant salty donkey nuts. read more

All of my experiences, 4 so far, have been great. They run their shop with the client in mind, and what they specialize in. Supporting the tattooing community. Every time I've been in there for an appointment, at least one person walks in to inquire about a style neither of them specialize in, and they are up front with the perspective client. Recommending other local tattoo artists, and giving advice on their experiences. Professional, engaging, and will have my business for life. An additional comment. I was in my appointment when the young adult, her mother, and father came I'm for a tattoo, and posted a 1 star for their experience. Each person has their own perspective, and I'm not here to call out their posts as fraudulent, it was theirs. I am willing to say as an artist, licensed to practice in the state, and a business owner, you have to set your own rules as you see fit to agree to do business. Having an adult speck for themselves, for a permanent procedure where the tattoo artists work is on display is beyond reasonable. Holly clearly stated that from the start, and the mother wouldn't accept that as part of the agreement to do business. She kept pushing, even after Holly politely said she won't do a tattoo for the young lady. It is the store policy, based on reality of the industry, and the rights of a business owner to engage in business practices in a regulated industry. I saw it as a responsible owner, defending her right to practice as she saw fit. Far from the accusations of all 3, especially the mother bringing up race. Shame on her for manipulating the instance into projection of her own insecurities. read more
