You go through the "Living Room" to get to your room with a personal assistant escorting you to show you all the details. We went over the Holidays and the hotel is very convenient to the Christmas Markets and high end shopping is very close by. Max who was running the front desk was outstanding in helping with several requests that we had. Stephanie was our personal assistant who was also very charming and helpful. A must stay while in Dusseldorf.

During the trade show we were here to attend, they go for $2300 per night. They were less than $600 when we booked many months ago. That is actually competitive when compared to tiny horrible places we have stayed before for about $400 a night. My company is generous and understanding so this type of hotel is definitely a treat. Hard to call my wife back home to describe the marble interior, the spiral staircases, the private living rooms, fully stocked and complementary mini fridges, waterfall showers, huge tub, bidet, electronically controlled drapes, luxury towels and robes, turn down service, killer bed and pillows, garden views, perfect location next to Old Town, fast wifi, the most amazing complementary breakfasts and killer lounge. Yes, dear, business travel sucks.

The…read morerooms are great, and although room service dining is limited to midnight (with the exception of one vegetarian option after that), the prices aren't bad at all. We were able to check in early as the friendly concierge was able to give us a call right after our room was ready, and even had our luggage moved to the room before we got to our room. The hotel staff also delivered newspapers to us in the morning as well as had a wonderful shoe shine service. Turn-down service is something you have to request every evening, but even then, it is worth the phone call just to replenish the coffee and tea in the room and get some water. Speaking of coffee and tea, they don't have a coffee maker in the room, instead using a kettle to make both tea and instant coffee. Also missing was an iPod dock, which is an interesting oversight since I would rather listen to some good music than watch foreign language television in the room! The bar downstairs is very trendy with some really good and well-priced snack and menu options. I loved the garlic fries after spending an entire day walking in the old city and drinking the alt beer. Checkout was plain and efficient. You get what you pay, and the stay was memorable.

The room was very clean, spacious with tons of natural light, wonderful closet space, and a nice modern Kitchenette. Spacious bathroom with soft robes and slippers. One of the best customer service we received during our trip. Excellent and profesional service by staff such as Mohamed who took care of our luggage and taxi cabs and from our housekeeping Steffi who was multilingual and went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed and promptly got someone to come help us with the washer/dryer. She was also very kind and patience with our child who was trying to practice speaking in German with her when she delivered extra towels we requested. This hotel deserves 5 stars. Highly reccomend for anyone who is travelling to Dusseldorf.

This Hyatt House was renovated out of an old court house and caters to the Andreas Quarters art scene. There are plenty of theater productions and art galleries a plenty, plus there are two amazing restaurants right inside. The piano bar is amazing with such a great lounge feeling. When you walk in the lobby is MASSIVE but so well decorated to make you feel at home. Little areas to sit and read the many books provided, gorgeous artwork to look at, stunning architecture...the list goes on. Oh, and the rooms are massive and priced perfectly, and their brand news, super cozy, and best of all quiet. Staff is top notch and accommodating to all the request you may have. Breakfast is fantastic, the Gym is big...nothing more to say, this place is really really good and I put it at the top of the list. If you do stay here, I recommend an early morning stroll down to the Rhein River along the quarter and take a look at all the plazas and squares in the early morning hours before everything starts to move, absolutely breathtaking with all the public art.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and overall found it very nice. The hotel is located on a fairly…read morequiet corner in the center of Düsseldorf, not far from the main promenade. Another plus is its walkable distance to Düsseldorf Central Train Station - just about 8 minutes on foot. The entire building is renovated and modern, and the lobby is nicely decorated. The only noticeable minus for me was the very small and slow elevator, which a few times I had to wait for a couple of minutes. My check-in was fast and easy. The only small issue was that I didn't get the highest-floor room I was promised through Booking.com chat. A day before arrival, they confirmed they had reserved a 5th-floor room for me, but in the end, I didn't get it. Overall, the hotel's staff were nice and friendly. My Standard Single Room (#313) was the right size for one person, modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. All the furniture was in perfect condition. I liked the large window, which let in plenty of natural daylight, and it could be opened fully for fresh air. The city view from my room was also lovely. The twin bed was very comfortable. The hotel provided a couple of free bottles of water along with tea bags and coffee. I liked the closet section with a luggage bench, refrigerator, and safe. The only minus was that there were just 4 hangers in there. The bathroom was beautifully designed - I absolutely loved it. The only downside was the very tiny shower stall. The amenities were the standard NH brand, and I liked both their quality and scent. I also really appreciated the modern and powerful hairdryer. The hotel's Wi-Fi worked very fast. For my stay I paid €56 per night (plus €3 per night city tax), and I found this rate very reasonable for the overall high quality of the hotel. I can absolutely recommend this NH Hotel for a stay in Düsseldorf, especially if your goal is to be in the city center and close to the Central Train Station.

Added to that are little complimentary bottles of lotion, shower gel and shampoo. There wasn't much counter space in the bathroom though. Now, for the cons- the mattress was very hard and I had a rough night sleeping and woke up with a sore neck/back. We were put on the 2nd floor and apparently windows are thin so we could hear people talking outside late at night. And then of course, we were awoken by LOUD construction noise. Apparently the next building over, they're doing major construction and our room happened to be closest to it. Imagine awakening up to that at 7:30am. I wish they would've placed us in the opposite side of the hotel! WiFi is very spotty but you can upgrade to a higher speed if you want. The staff was really nice.

Like literally, the AC is locked when you try to turn the temperature down so at first you think you're crazy lol. It's a biological fact that your body clock needs to drop in order for us to be able to fall asleep. I was informed that they turn off the AC in the winter, and the only way to cool the room is to open the window (and let in all the street noise at night). For a $350+ Euros a night hotel it had me questioning why they were trying to save money here. The positives- The interior is handsome and historic looking, though some may find the hand lamps and the portraits lining the hallways a bit creepy. I found the staff to be very kind, and the breakfast is amazing. The rooms have some high-tech touches and the sheets are nice. So there you go, one star for the lovely staff and the amazing breakfast. Zero stars for the most sleepless nights I have had in my life. And I'm writing this review slightly delusional and very sick from sleep deprivation, lol.
