I first discovered Stadtsalat 3 years ago, leaving an extremely positive review that I had finally found quick, convenient, healthy food that could be delivered within the hour to my home or work. It was great for the first couple of years but unfortunately that has all changed.
Over the past 5 months I have noticed a significant decline in their product and service. as per many of the more recent reviews the portion sizes have been getting smaller and smaller. We are talking about a 20 euro + salad, so it should at least be a decent enough size.
However, the main and most frustrating issue has been a continued, repeated decline in the quality of the ingredients, as I have received salads that were inedible due to rotten greens and other items. I contacted support and they gave me a 10 euro voucher and say this is not the standard or quality that they pride themselves on and that this was a one-off quality issue. Every subsequent order over the next 8 weeks had exactly the same issues, and each time the customer support said the same thing but how can this be a one-off when it has happened 5 times over the course of several months. I asked to speak to someone live instead of through chat and they refused and would not provide me a contact number, basically refused to discuss the issues ive been experiencing and find a reasonable resolution to the problem.
I then decided to reach out directly to the owner, to explain my frustration and to make sure that he was aware that a loyal long time customer who had been using his services both personally and professionally had experienced this significant decline in quality and trust in his brand and the response I received... silence, nothing, its been 4 weeks now so any reasonable reason for being too busy or away from the office has passed.
My strong advice to anyone considering to order from them, do not use their services, they do not care about food quality, they do not care about their customers well-being or have the decency to respond to customer issues. read more
