The location was prime, just minutes away from Berlin Central Station and in a quiet residential neighborhood so our fifth-floor room facing the street was very quiet and comfortable. But most importantly, the best part was the lovely and friendly workers who were very kind and made our stay so enjoyable, especially the workers every morning at the breakfast buffet which is included in the room rate. One of the ladies who was working there almost every day for breakfast during our stay even remembered my hot chocolate order from the first day, and for the following days prepared hot chocolate for me without asking! She and everyone else were the absolute sweetest. Today's review will explain more about the breakfast experience. I highly recommend staying here not only for the delicious breakfast but for the full wonderful experience! Food: - There was an abundant amount of housemade jams available, and even honey from a fresh honeycomb! Jams included strawberry jam, rhubarb jam, plum jam, and apple jam. I enjoyed pairing these with the cheese selection they had, especially with the brie. This would also go well with the bread, pastries, as well as the plain yogurt they had. - Another item that I enjoyed every single morning was the bircher muesli or overnight oats. So creamy and satisfying, and naturally sweetened from dried fruits. - For something savory, I recommend the smoked salmon with the many spreads and pates, as well as the vegetables paired with them too. Tips: - Breakfast is from 7-10 am. - When you arrive at breakfast, ask one of the workers for a warm drink to start--they have an espresso machine so they can make you a cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, or pretty much anything! They also have coffee and tea. - There are little wafer cups next to the jam and butter. Use those to scoop up servings of jam or honey. They are also edible! - The honeycomb is also edible, use the spoon to scoop a bit for yourself, and try it with the yogurt or cheese.

The food was pretty good but I would say it was not cheap. People kept on saying "Thank you for the meal, see you tomorrow" in German, so I suppose it might also be something like a soup kitchen. The staff was very friendly, people were nice. It was very clean. It was a different experience, I liked it.
