But I am a bit sensitive about mattress quality, and the mattress I had was not the best. I don't know how old it was, but there was not much support left in the middle of the bed. And, it was quite annoying when we came back after breakfast finding our hotel room occupied by two men fixing the TV. That should definitely have been scheduled for after we had left. The maid also managed to pop in twice, without knocking. Our morning was a lot less relaxing than we would have hoped.

The rooms offer that certain tired, helpless look that only the mish-mash of tastless decor can enhance. One always looks for a restful nights sleep, and if sleeping on a minimum 30 year old urined stained matress, then this is your place. The lumpiness was also helped by the broken lattice underneath. At least it was warm but having a shower and then drying oneself with feisty towels,which were only good for cleaning the car,didn't help with the overall experience . If the cost per night was less than 50 euros I 'may' have accepted the warmed-up bread were offered for breakfast Definately would not recommend this place...with so many other possibilities in Scharding..which, btw, we loved very much
