The accommodations are great, food and drink areas ample, and the stadium is quite beautiful. Lots of great fans getting serious about their team and winning hockey! It was fun! The place is big and we got in fast. We already had our tickets, so don't know how it is if you when it is just a party. But don't think you'll have to wait up much. We did have to wait a bit to leave our cots, but guess that is normal during winter. The drinks where priced as usual and there was also some food, like fries, to get there. For a show it is a nice venue. Spacious, but cosy at the same time. Going out was the hard part. We even left earlier to get our coats, but they didn't really have a system so they kept going around all the jackets until they found ours. I do want to come here one day for a party. Super plus it is really like 5 min from my house! So I'll definitely check it out again!

I only hung out for about an hour because I had promised to join my friend for a little bit after our dept xmas party, but it was still fun to get our groove on... and burn off some of our massive dinner. ;) I've heard some complaints about this place trying to be too posh, but all of my friends love it, and I've felt equally comfortable dancing in a black cocktail dress and also jeans and a tank top. (Or in the case of last Thursday, what I wore to work.)

More precise, every effect happened 2 seconds before, compared to the movie. This completely destroyed the movie experience, nothing made sense as you got a flash or hit in the chair before it actually happened on the screen. The cherry on the top was the heat inside the room in the middle of the summer with no ac, and very smelly. I tried to go out to find somebody, but late in the evening there were only cleaning personnel around. After reporting this, they promised in an email to refund the money. However, after 2 days, they just decided not to refund anymore, as 'the situation is not clear'. Also, no mention of actually fixing the issues in that email. Instead, they tried to offer tickets to a 'normal' screening (so not 3d/4d) of any future movie, but by now I don't want to be near that place, so I refused. Incredible lack of responsibility and absolutely careless about their clients. To my surprise I found many similar negative reviews starting years ago, which is another clear sign they absolutely don't care to fix anything and lack respect towards the people.

Go early (like 4 or 5 ish in the afternoon) so you get your fill of it before all hell breaks loose. It's a lot like a state fair (yknow, like back in the states) except way bigger, and instead of it being in a closed off field, they bring it to the middle of the city, roller coasters and all. So you can still enjoy the beautiful buildings, river, and all the roads are shut down. One tramstop was even transformed into a bar, that was cool looking. They shot off fireworks to beautiful music for 30 MINUTES! There is SO MUCH FOOD. I loved it. You can try everything. It's like Swiss Fair Food! And it's awesome. Sure it ads up, but it's not bad, maybe 7-15CHF per plate. The only downside is the cluster fudge of people. That's why you might wanna peace out around 10 or 11. My mom left before the fireworks, and that was probably a really good decision. There was one point when boyfriend and I almost lost it because we were smashed against people. It gets a little crowded. A teenage boy took advantage of the mess and held my hand for maybe 2 seconds. See, people get a little crazy. The good thing that came out of it was boyfriend and I eventually got smashed against the barbeque stand, so we actually got to skip the line and eat bbq. That was fun. It's an experience. If you have an open mind and avoid the scary mass of people, it's pretty awesome. AND IT'S ONLY EVERY 3 YEARS!
