The interior is starker than other cathedrals of similar age and architecture, but the crypt of St. Cyril below gives you an idea of layered Romanic and Gothic construction. FOr 2 Euro you can climb the dizzying, tight and sweat-inducing stairs to the spire. You can stop on the large platform at 40 m (about 125 ft) or climb another set of spiral stairs to 52 m (about 160 ft.) and admire Konstanz from above. The view of the harbour and Peter Lenk's famous Imperia are excellent, particularly on a clear, sunny day.
