This is one of those small gems of churches that make me keep coming back. Bear in mind that the church is the people, not the building, because the building is not great. Inside, however, is one of the warmest welcomes I've ever received.
It's very much a community church - small, relaxed - and the minister fosters a conversational and informal style during worship. Other local preachers take different approaches with a small, growing congregation, in one of the most diverse areas of cardiff. Theologically it reflects this diversity in both the approach to worship and the topics covered.
The area around is very mixed - the old tiger bay alongside the modern Cardiff Bay. Some of Loudoun Sq itself is quite tatty, but don't let it put you off. read more
