When we were in Vancouver, we dropped by a house my Aunt called the Hansel & Gretel house. I…read moreresearched online and saw pictures of the Hobbit House which looked similar to the house we viewed. I do not know if this is the correct address or not. Apparently, there are a total of three homes in Metro Vancouver with this type of architecture. Got to say that it is one of the most unique homes that I have ever seen. It truly looks like a home from a fairy tale. Anyways, we just parked on the street. Stepped out and snapped a photo. Did not want to bother anyone. Just thought that it looked very cool.

My best friend and I sometimes take the bus purposely so that we can see the Hobbit house. The bus…read moredriver will even point this out like a tour guide when we are approaching the house. One of the best free things to check out in Vancouver that is not necessarily touristy but cool none the less. I used to take the kids that I nannied for and told them that Hansel & Gretel got lost in the house. It scared the shit out of them. They still hate me til this day for it. I did take a pic, however, walked up to the house and asked politely first and they were honored. They were really really nice people. I promised them that I wouldn't publish the photo in exchange for taking a pic of their home which they appreciated. I can completely respect that. I am only reviewing this since someone else did it first and it showed up on the news feed, however, in general I feel weird about reviewing homes with actual house addresses but whatever works :)

Marrying and quitting school at an early age to get out of the house, she soon after had my sister and I and from then on avoided all religion. So understanding how foreign the whole church experience is for me, this is the one amazing place that will bring you peace if you seek it - not only for the spiritual balance - but because the people give the impression of a big family environment - a happy family environment. Chairs not pews and a uplifting and often him ours sundays at 10am service. Check them out!

On Sunday morning people bring their best smile, best attire and carry on pretending everything is polished and perfect. I know I was one of those people. Cityview Church is unique. People there are authentic! They are interested to know what really is happening in your life and actually has the willingness to listen. No pretense that things are perfect when it's not, and there is freedom in that. Trevor Josh, the senior pastor never put himself in pedestal and the people are being challenged, tested and growing in the Lord. It is a small church and known for it's "big heart". The congregation is consist with Entrepreneurs, Accountants, Medical Practitioners, Community Weaver and Developers, Engineers, Teachers, Retired persons, stay home moms, the waywards and in between. This congregation is very diverse, but one thing in common..."saved by Grace and loving Jesus Christ". Don't take my word as grain of salt- consider checking Cityview Church, located on 4370 Sophia Street near 28th and Main in Vancouver.
