Quaint, beautiful little country church steeped in history. It sits in the midst of a graveyard dating back to at least the 17th century, likely even older. Indeed records show that the church dates back to at least 1269, and the tower was built in the 16th century - in the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.
It is situated in a very up market part of Knutsford (with its amazingly beautiful little town center which we barely saw due to it being in the midst of its annual Christmas market and parade! And the grand nature of the large homes around Knutsford shows the affluence of the area) and fortunately this has allowed this lovely edifice to be well maintained.
It is located right next door to the Bells of Peover (wonderful pub - perfect place for Sunday roast after the service!)
