As a complete beginner the determination to get back on the board was egged on by the three teachers as well as the distinct presence of the photographer on the beach. You can also get hostel and hotel accomodation and coasteering packages - just try it, you'll love it!

The staff are great, very helpful in a chilled out sort of way. When we went along for the weekend they sent us a text message each day or the evening before letting us know what time the lesson would start the next day (as it varied depending what the waves were like). They have a great method of teaching which allows almost everyone to stand up on the board on their first lesson. They are also great at teaching more experienced surfers and I learnt loads from them. Finally, the best thing when you come out of the water is the nice warm hot tub waiting for you afterwards (I won't mention the cold shower between the water and the hot tub!!
