This is my favourite Cathedral in all of Glasgow. The building itself is spectacular and proudly stands out from its surroundings with excellent masonry work. Likewise, it is in a prime location.
However, what really does it for me is the inclusiveness and welcoming ethos that radiates out of it. It has a diverse congregation - including gay members - who are less interested in judgement and hellfire and more interested in teaching, preaching and liturgy. Some of the liturgy you'll hear will be, perhaps, the best in Glasgow and challenging at times.
This is a progressive organisation which is striving to implement change and deepen their faith simultaneously. Concerned with both the heavenly and the earthly world - as some might say.
