I have to say that St. Mark's Lappans has the friendliest congregation. The vicar, Reverend Anne O. Weatherholt is warm and welcoming. If you are looking for a church to call home, visit St. Mark's. read more

My daughter attended mt.nebo for more than a year and digressed. She began to talk like a baby and…read moreeven had several accidents in her pants. This was big deal being my daughter never required or used pull ups. The is no organization from the director down. My daughters teacher and i were facebook friends. On a Friday she posted at quiet time the noises she couldn't stand. My daughter being an asthma patient will breath through her mouth and makes noises as she breathes. This was a complaint of her trachers. I also recieved text messages from her teacher she accidently sent to my phone. It was vulgar and unacceptable for a christian lifestyle which I do live. I would not recommend this preschool or daycare in anyway. Since removing my daughter she can come home and tell me what she learned that day, I see improvments throughout our daily interactions and she no longer fight me to go to school. Mt.nebo i had to get a teacher to assist me to keep her there. I wish I would of recognized the signs earlier.

It's a gorgeous historic church from colonial times. The building is beautiful and according to a pamphlet I read, the painting behind the altar is a well known masterpiece (of course i don't remember the name or artist). I believe this year is their 250th anniversary. Sunday English mass times are at 9, 11, and 1. They also have Spanish mass but I'm not sure what time. More importantly for me, Fathers Matteo and Kevin are passionate and engaging speakers and I look forward to their homilies. It's also easy to become involved through volunteering. There are several ministries and everyone I've met has been friendly and welcoming!
