Great facility... but people... I can't understand for all these years with all the privacy rules etc with everything, that you continue to call First Names for those waiting for tests. Just use a Number ! Very easy. Also, chairs are very close to some check-in desks that it's impossible not to hear personal info. Let's fix this. read more

A family member had to come here for a pre-employment drug screen and anytime you have to go to a specific place versus having multiple options, you know it's going to take forever. The first off putting thing is the never ending fun with their touch screen system of checking in that basically wants a small life story while other people are waiting to use one of the two working terminals and the screen is not exactly the most responsive. Then you're called right away to speak with their one intake person they have working who basically regurgitates the entire touch screen experience back at you, screws around for a few minutes while they can't figure out how to take a proper scan of your ID and then tells you there is only one person in front of you for lab work so it shouldn't be too long. Two plus hours later, they finally got called back and that whole process was another 45 minutes which equaled about three hours from door to door to piss in a cup. In the local area, there are two large medical monopolies and we are very much in the camp of the other one. This much I know, they don't do things as slow, old school and stupid as this. Been waiting 2hrs so far just to be seen by urgent care. Absolutely ridiculous, but if you're Spanish or black and you don't know how to check in or you get loud they take you right back. What kind of bull is that? I've asked two times already and they said 3 people in front of me. Well 7 have gone back. Finally got called back after 2hrs and 25 mins, and the nurse who brought me back and took my vitals. Was very rude, no bedside manners or anything of that nature. read more

We've used the lab and radiology services here multiple times. The staff is always professional and the wait as advertised, and on schedule when it's a pre scheduled test. Appreciate that the hours are longer and thus more convenient compared to many other options. read more

Do not go there. It's the worst lab I have ever been to. I am a lab tech for 40+ years. I moved to this area and retired and every time I went there, there was so many errors ,I've had to repeat my labs many times, also I did a 24 hour urine 3 times and they missed the test and it had to be repeat again that is the worst lab. Beware! The only reason I return back to that lab is because my doctor suggested it. He was a St.Lukes physician. I will never do it again. read more

Today I was there, to drop off a urine collection. The person who gave me the container said " just bring it and drop it off". When I arrived to drop it off a receptionist asked me to register at the kiosk. The kiosk said you have no appointments, go to a receptionist. The first receptionist was looking away, so I asked a receptionist coming through the lab door to take it. She asked me to go to another receptionist at the back. The 3rd receptionist asked me for name and telephone number. Then the receptionist who sent me there came next to her and both were laughing. Then I was asked to go and sit in the lab waiting room. Then various lab personnel were coming and calling people in lab waiting room one by one. Every time someone opened the door I asked them to take the specimen. All of them refused saying they are with another patient. Then the receptionist at the back came to the lab waiting room and asked me whether I have a doctors note. I said no. She left. Then a CT technician came to the waiting room. I told him that I came to drop off a specimen and nobody is accepting it. He said "I don't work in that department, but I will go and talk to them". About an hour later a woman came and called my name. I tried to give her the specimen. She would not accept it. She asked me to walk with her into a backroom. I tried to give her the specimen, but she wouldn't take it. She asked me to keep it on the table. I kept on the table and tried to leave. She said "now take it out" It was in a paper bag they gave me to carry it. I took it out. Then she asked me to say my name and date of birth. I said both are printed on the label. She said if you don't tell me the name and date of birth she will throw the specimen. Then I told my name and date of birth. Then she asked me to leave. This place has too many receptionists with very little work and indifferent and impolite lab personnel. There are few who work hard, but the lazy incompetent people ruin their reputation. Needs proper supervision of the quality and amount of work they do and get rid of bad people. read more

terrible terrible, simple bloodwork took 1 1/2 hours. I told the staff off. One real nice jamaican lady taking blood, love her, 3 others talking, not doing nothing. So now i hear its 5 or 6 days where my 12yr old grandaughter had a stomach x-ray. Still nobody read it read more

We were told upfront it would up to 1.5 hour wait. We would have never gone here if we knew it would be longer than that. We chose this place because it said they had "Rapid Tests" and that they'd take a kid. We went for a Covid test for my 17 year old at 2:30pm on Thursday 10/15. We waited in our car. There were 3 cars. We waited, they called and took our info. 15 minutes later. 2 hours later, the 2nd car was done and we continued to wait. 45 minutes later and still no word at 5:30pm. Other cars pulled in to wait. We should be next. We made sure we were still listed and waited more. They finally took us at 7pm and we left by 7:30pm. Pick another place. It's gotta be better than 5 hours! read more

Worst physical I ever received. Waited over an hour past my appointment. The ppl ( nurse's assistance) were rude and practically were yelling at me to " watch what they were doing". Went back 48 hours later to check my TB test and was told my medical card had no been signed for me to take . Now mind you I have to take the test the next day so I need the medical card so I just screwed up my whole test date . They're not very friendly at all and again like I said I was practically being yelled at to watch the test ( urine). And I said well I trust you as professional that you'll do the right thing and again I was yelled at so needless to say I will never be returning to that facility for anything. And the not signing my medical card was so unprofessional and not okay. That was just the icing on the cake. I'm new to Lehigh Valley and I'm sure I could find a lot more professional places than that facility. read more

I had to come here for a pre-employment physical which cost $55 at this location. Pretty standard stuff. I called and set an appointment for 1:30pm and arrived 10 minutes early. It seems it doesn't really matter if you set an appointment. I ended up waiting until 3:15 before finally being called in. The appointment itself took only 5 minutes and I was finally on my way out of there by 3:30. I understand doctors offices get pretty backed up at times, but this was ridiculous. I missed another appointment while waiting to be seen here. It seems this office needs to be better with time management. read more

The woman at the PT desk said they cannot access the SLH computer system or patient records. This is not true. The place itself is dingy and dirty. Kids were loud and parent was engaging in conversation with the PT, both ignoring the kid(s). With all the profits SLH makes, clean up the place and hire competent staff. read more

I am a certified ASL phlebotomist and having a compromised father at home in these unprecedented times I draw my father's blood at home and have my husband drop it off at the lab on Silver Crest RD (closed). Since during the pandemic, the specimens were being dropped off at St Lukes North on Broadhead Rd. Each time, other than one my husband was made to feel as if he was a bother. My father had critical results for his PT and I drew him this morning and they refused to accept the blood. They gave my husband a card to call for home draw. Only alternative is to take him in there and since my father is compromised i refuse to do this nor do I want anyone coming in to our house in these times for a home draw. He is 92 and very compromised. I spoke with a lab manager and she directed me to a Kelly Speaker who I have yet to hear from. I realize these are trying times but since most of your patient service centers are closed, I can not accept the way this was handled, especially since the specimens were handled through that facility before. This is an urgent care location with radiology/lab facilities and a few actual doctor's offices. I've been here once for pre-employment drug testing and once again for urgent care. The drug testing was pretty painless. I had an appointment and only waited a few minutes after my time before they rang my buzzer. I was in and out within a few minutes. Good times. My urgent care experience was not nearly as good. I called my doctor having trouble with my asthma, and he recommended that I go to urgent care, as it would probably save me some time in line. Unfortunately, either my doctor was mistaken about what treatment options the location had, or they've made some changes, as it was basically useless. They could do a chest X-ray to confirm it wasn't pneumonia or something else putrid like that, and they could do a pulse ox to make sure that I was getting enough oxygen, but they had no equipment on site to measure my breathing nor could they give any emergency albuterol treatments. After two hours of waiting around for nothing, listening to a little boy scream as they attempted to pull a rock out of his ear, I'd had my fill. The doctor came back and told me that there was nothing they could do for me and that he'd be happy to call ahead to the ER. I decided to go home and tough it out. There's no way I was going to pay them yet another co-pay unless I started feeling worse. Plus, at least the ER has better soundproofing. It's really convenient to my work but horridly inconvenient to my home. If I ever get into a pinch again, I'd probably go straight to the ER, where they can get me back on my way feeling better. read more

I would never recommend this urgent care facility to anyone. I was greeted kindly by the front desk, but that's where the kindness ended. My name was called by a snobby, rude, couldn't-care-less about people registration clerk and she was rude to me the entire time she took my information. She acted like I was below her and treated me like I was dumb. It somehow only got worse from there... I needed to get blood work done and the MA who was doing it was also completely rude and brash. She finished up drawing blood and I left to come home to a blood shot arm, completely bruised black and blue and very painful. Clearly she did don't know what she was doing. Worst customer service ever! Called to ask about a physical exam for school and the receptionist was so rude. Probably ruined my day. I asked her about vaccine titers and she said they do not do them and then told me they did them as walk ins. read more
