AFTER ATTENDING AWHILE…read more If you're looking for a place with a choir, organ music and tradition, this is your place. Speaking is lengthy and not all that engaging but solid bible teaching.

To the ram you gave horns, to the deer you gave speed, to the chameleon you gave the ability to change colors and blend with its background. But You have given me no defense." God asked the sheep, "What shall I do to help you? Would you like sharp teeth so that you might bite your attackers? Or fierce claws in place of your soft hooves?" The sheep replied: "I don't want sharp teeth or vicious claws like a beast of prey. I haven't the fierce nature to use such things." God asked, "Would you like poisoned fangs?" The sheep shivered. "Poison? No! It frightens me and everyone hates the snakes and spiders that have it. But You have created me as a likeable creature, gentle and mild, as I like to be." So the Holy One, the Blessed, said: "I will grow great horns from your forehead." But the sheep answered: "O God, You have given horns to my mate, the ram. And all day long the rams batter one another, showing off. Shall I grow prideful like the rams or as fierce as some wild buffalo? I WOULD RATHER BE HELPLESS THAN CRUEL." God smiled and said: "You please me because you wish to remain as I created you, gentle and kind. But I will not leave you without protection. See, I have given you a coat of thick wool, white and soft as snow. Go now, and show it to Adam. He will love you for it. He will take your coat each year to make clothing and blankets for himself and all his kin. So he will keep you close and protect you from all your enemies." FROM THAT DAY TO THIS, THE SHEEP HAVE HAD THEIR SHEPHERD; AND THE SHEPHERD HAS PROTECTED THE SHEEP. (Seymour Rossel) I was in desparate need of a pastoral counselling session and The Chief Shepherd led me (all the way from South Florida!) to Dr. Keith Moore /FBCP. If you are a sheep in the Portland area and feel your need for a pastor, not a mega-church rock concert multi-programmed event country club, with all their fees and masks, please do not let any bear, lion or even the goats, stop you from receiving Dr. Moore's shepherding. He loves The Good Shepherd and will show you The Blood of The Lambkin. Their service is at 10:00 am Sundays, and that is as good a place as any to begin! If you are desparately wounded and know you need something stronger, please ask for a free copy of the Dead Sea Scrolls coloring book Dr. Moore has to give you, in a one on one counselling session. You will be glad you did! Hallelujah Ha Dam! The sheep complained to Gott, saying, "O Creator of the Universe, you have created many evil creatures who pursue me to slay me.
