John picked up my sister's body on 8/20/2019 to cremate. He sent the death certificate to the wrong doctor to sign. It took 3 different people telling him 6 times before he sent it to the correct doctor on 9/11. The coroner had sent him a cremation authorization on 8/27 but John did not appear to understand that it was sufficient to cremate her. He finally cremated her on 9/6 or 9/9. Her funeral was 9/7, which John knew from our first conversation on 8/19. I talked to John on 9/10 and he said he was mailing her cremains to me. On 9/16, I called John and told him that I had not received my sister's cremains and he told me that I should receive them by Wednesday. He stated that he was putting the death certificates in the mail the next day, Tuesday. On Thursday afternoon at 5:10PM, I called John because the cremains had not been in the mail as he had promised. I left a message requesting a return call and to know the exact date that he had placed the cremains in the mail. I informed him that I was becoming very frustrated with his process. Today at 11:00AM, I FINALLY received my sister's cremains. The mailing label showed they had been shipped at 7:15PM on 9/19. When I opened the box, I also found the death certificates, which showed, "Date Received 09/19/2019." He lied to me numerous times during the month that I dealt with him and honestly, I don't understand why. He made a stressful situation so much more stressful than it had to be!

The location is convenient and can be found easily. There is plenty of parking in the front and back of the building for all your family and friends. On the inside, you will find a small dining area with coffee pot and sink. A small spot to sit and collect yourself when you need to. On the opposite side of the mini kitchenette, there is more seating with bigger and more comfy chairs. The room that everything takes place in is large, and has lots of seating. You can line the walls with boards and photos and memories of the one you lost and it seems that you would never run out of space to add more. They even help provide a couple easels and tables for you to set up memory boards or framed photos. The gentleman who sat with my family as we planned my mother's funeral was a very kind and caring gentleman. He did his best to explain all the options to our family and gave his recommendations on what would be best. He was never pushy or inconsiderate. He made the experience as painless as it possibly could be, given the circumstances of the situation. There were more than enough options for caskets, flowers, memory cards, and other details. So many options that sometimes it's hard to choose what's best. However, lots of options meant that there was plenty to choose from in various price ranges. They will help make what you want happen in a price range that is comfortable for you. They also put on a slideshow with music during the funeral of photos that you can provide to them. Any flowers that are delivered are promptly set up in beautiful displays. They didn't even have a problem with my family leaving the flowers there for an additional day so we could pick them up later. They also provide an additional service that I think is unlike any other. When a loved one passes, they take a fingerprint. That fingerprint is put on a necklace and given to you free of charge. You can order more if you pay, but the first one is free. And that small little detail became absolutely everything to me. You can personalize a message on the back of the necklace to complete your final memory and the finished product is almost too beautiful to wear. Communication here is amazing. They really take your feelings and your needs into consideration. They take one of the worst things you could imagine and make it somewhat tolerable. The death of a loved one is never easy and it breaks your heart. The last thing you want is to struggle through it blindly with little care or regard from others. That's why Heiligtag is so amazing. They really genuinely, from the bottom of their hearts, care. And they do nearly everything for you so you don't have to worry about a thing. Just show up and they'll help you do the rest. No matter who you talk to or what details you decide on, you'll be so glad you came to Heiligtag!

We paid Heritage to purchase and plant 7 Green Giant Arborvitae trees at our home on April 27,…read more2021. The proposal stated that all plants came with a one year replacement guarantee. Brandon Schlotz was our assigned project manager The trees were brown and dying by fall of 2021. We contacted Brandon who was very responsive. We were asked to "wait for the trees to come out of winter" He assured me that they would honor the guarantee no matter how long it took for the trees to recover. Spring came and the trees never recovered. Brandon was out here and when he began to dig under a couple of the trees he pulled out rope, and burlap. Shaking his head, he told us that he would be in touch with next steps. We also called a professional arborist to come take a look at the trees to be sure we were doing everything in our power to take good care of the trees. We were told we had done everything right. In November of 2022 Heritage says they sent someone out here to do a "deep seed fertilization" which did nothing to improve the trees. We contacted Brandon again and in Feb of 2023 he agreed that the trees needed to be replaced. We were told to wait until spring for new trees to be in from Home Nursery. In March of 2023 Brandon contacted us to say trees were in but that he would suggest we go with a different variety called Excelsa - we agreed. After researching ourselves we asked to purchase an 8th tree since this variety does not grow as wide as our original Green Giants. Brandon said he would be onsite for this planting since he said, "I should have watched more closely the first time." On April 5, 2023 Heritage came out and removed the 7 dead trees. Brandon suggested we buy a 9th tree to be sure we filled the space properly, so we did. The crew planted 9 Excelsa. We were charged an additional $610 for the 8th and 9th trees. THIS invoice was paid on 5/21/23 and it NOW states "Plant comes with one replacement within one year after the installation date". Within 2 months the trees began to look very bad. We attempted to contact Brandon, left messages for him and got no response. We sent numerous emails to Brandon and copied the company general email address as well Mike Estund. We sent pictures of the trees with no response. We were beyond frustrated and rather than asking them to replace the trees, we requested a FULL REFUND and for them to come out and remove the trees. Finally on 7/13/23 we spoke with Mike Estund who was definitely not interested in helping us. He was terribly rude even saying "How the hell did you kill 16 of my trees?!" He refused a refund by saying the guarantee was for ONE TIME ONLY. He also told us that he couldn't just remove the trees and leave empty holes because that would be a liability for his company. The conversation ended with Mike saying he would send us an email stating what he agreed to do and wanted it in writing that we wanted the trees removed and that we would take responsibility for the empty holes. That email from him never came and all further emails from us to them have gone unanswered. The now 8 dead trees (one is still hanging on) are still sitting standing and we are out $3060.00

She recently purchased internet service and when I tried connecting her service, there was an issue which prompted us to come to the store. There was a young lady there, only one, and she was very attentive with helping my grandmother and her issue. Turns out they have to order a new one by overall, I think this place has great offers for a low price. People on fixed incomes like my grandmother can really appreciate their offers.
