I've called them 3X this week to see a home. the first time when no one responded I called and was told that an agent had tried to reach me twice. A lie because no missed call showed on my phone and I always have my phone. second time the secretary said she'd look after it and have someone call. No one called back again. So much for working for the seller. I will never list my house with them. If only the sellers knew they aren't responding to potential buyers! read more

We used Michael St Jean realty back in the Spring. After Speaking to his representative We then had their Stager come to our home. she stood outside our home and Simply Said "Stunning" . she let us know the house needed no changes. Our home is Very desirable and basically could sell itself. Our realtor did nothing but rely on MLS to sell it. He was useless. I recomend in future to they and sell you home on many free sights on the Internet. All you need are $500 of Lawyers fees. Michael St Jean realty works only for themselves and not for you. In April 2022 I appointed Robin of Michael St Jean Realty selling my Home . The House received a firm offer in four days after the first showing. However, after that there were a total lack of any service, no support from my Listing agent even the deal was in danger of not closing Not even a SINGLE phone call from Robin! e.g. Listing Agent told me they asked for pre-approved mortgage letter with offer . We accepted the offer however, the buyer did not obtain any pre-approved mortgage. The buyer house not sold yet when approaching the scheduled closing so they asking for extension of closing date. We granted the extension and want to add few conditions to the extension of contract per our Lawyer advice. Our Listing agent Robin refuse to add those conditions to the contract despite my lawyer told us that Realtor agent's job. Buyer's agent added those conditions to the extension of contract for us. The day before the amending of closing date, everything was up in the air (In danger of not closing)Robin e-mailed me and asked" Have I heard anything ?" Imagine we pay commission to a selling agent to sell our house but the selling agent ask us how the sale is progressing Our Lawyer contacted us and we signed the selling Doc day before the schedule closing date . The listing agent only concerns collecting his commissions , no advice, no service, no support at all . I cannot imagine this level of service still exist The lack of communication and concern is just appalling ! read more

St. Jean Realty is an absolute fraud. They do not operate in the best interest of their clients, but work to double-end commission by forcing potential buyers to sign with them. They will refuse to show you a property unless you sign with them, which is contrary to their clients best interest in having a potential buyer with a viable and potentially better offer. DO NOT sell with St. Jean Realty unless you're okay with unethical practices that run contrary to your best interest. read more

They lack integrity. They were the realty company in charge of selling my student home and their actions were appalling. 1) The house went on the market in the middle of COVID-10 and he knew that all of my roommates and I would not be able to vacate the property during showings as we have school work to do an campus is closed. He did not show up to any of the showings which were taking place back-to-back with 2+ people coming in and out of our house for 3-7 hours a day. It was a complete violation of our privacy and right to safety. Because of his absence, we had to field any questions that buyers had (many of whom were quite disrespectful and had no regard for our privacy in our rooms) which is not our responsibility and we did not consent to. 2) They found a buyer that wanted to rent the house to their kids in university after our lease was up (which we understood) and tried to coerce us into leaving without going through the documentation very clearly laid out by the Landlord and Tenant Board 3) His conversations with us were completely manipulative and condescending and made many of us uncomfortable and upset. If you want a realtor who understands basic respect and decency, stay far away from this realty company. read more

I thought it was a good experience until the week we moved in. Unfortunately there were problems with the property we purchased that were discovered once the snow melted; which we saw during our last viewing the weekend before we took possession. When we asked our realtor Henry about it he said it was too late there's nothing we can do. Now that we are trying to fix the problem I have been quoted $5500 to fix it. Looking for help we have reached out to other realtors, when we asked about the situation they are appalled as Henry should have helped us in the moment and we could have done something about it before we moved in. We are also trying to get a hold of the lawyer he referred us too and they also don't return my phone calls. I know its the kind of the business to not be super customer focused but that's not what was in their pitch, their pitch was all about building a relationship with us and looking out for us as first time home buyers. I won't be using them for my next home purchase. read more
