I highly recommend this church to anyone looking for a real relationship with Jesus. We allow women to serve God as we were "CALLED" to do. We don't follow those old outdated sexist doctrines. The only problem is our church's location. The area is a haven for homeless and other beggars asking for money. I don't recommend going at night. It just doesn't seem safe.

You could feel the Holy Spirit all over; the Pastor was on Fire and had a great message; his choir leader (a trooper lady for God), and the entire congregation were super-friendly. Infact I was visiting and a guy was in there looking for food and they sent him away. I got up and left. I remember when I was preaching in a Baptist church. A guy came in that church looking for food and I gave the guy some money. One of the deacons came over and said "I wish you hadn't done that. Now they (poor people) are going to be in here like roaches". How can one worship Jesus with that mindset?! Its a lot more common than you think. That is the feeling I got from this church.

Zander's last day of daycare and he starts Pre-K next week…read more Y'all know I give reviews- so let me just say- out of all the daycares Zander has had (& he's been in daycare since he was 6 weeks old) 12th Street Baptist is and always will be my favorite. The director- Michelle- is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Not the fake nice these other directors do to get you inside- but the genuine kindness that can be felt everyday when she greets you at the door. And his teachers - man He had a teacher for the Spring- Mrs Kelly who was tough but so so so good to him. She taught him sooo much and they used the Abeka Curriculum and I can seriously tell how much more prepared he is going to be for real school. Then his teacher over the summer was crying yesterday telling him bye and it brought tears to my eyes because I know they genuinely care about my baby. I never ONCE worried about leaving him there. I only wish we would have found this daycare sooner and been able to stay longer. Thank you so much for loving my baby like you have. I would recommend this place to EVERY momma I know We will for sure be back to visit
