Always helpful and common sense prevails. Doesn't try to promote things just to increase cost.

Missoula Veterinary Clinic - Miss Fiona feeling much better after our visit!

The word euthanasia shouldn't be spoken until there's literally no other option. He just wants you to pay it all ASAP so he gets his paycheck quicker. He doesn't realize how close he came to needlessly killing my cat. Here's what's terrific, most of the staff are warm compassionate people who are great with pets and generally very human. Doctor Cross being a perfect example. We've brought pets here for years and Adam McDougall is the only horrible experience I've had here.

I should have heeded the warning when I received the email informing me that they would no longer send prescriptions to third-party pharmacies, claiming that third-party pharmacies lost scripts, filled the wrong medications, and those medications could be compromised and potentially dangerous to the animals. As someone who works in a pharmacy, I can assure you that losing scripts and filling medications incorrectly would result in job loss. Moreover, we also dispense drugs through McKesson, just like Missoula Vet does. If I were to inform a patient that we do not accept prescriptions from Missoula Vet or any other provider in this town, it would open up our pharmacy to lawsuits, and I would lose my job. And let me be clear, you guys are not cheaper than Chewy! Professionalism at Missoula Vet is absolutely appalling! Two weeks ago, I had to bring my sister's dog in for an emergency appointment. The veterinarian didn't even bother to look at his chart, she talked down to me (practically yelling), and argued with me about the medications he was prescribed, claiming they don't prescribe those for his condition. A week later, I brought my dog in for an ear infection while waiting in the lobby for the technician to finish cleaning out her ear. There was another man with his dog, who was paying the receptionist and then left. After he was gone, the ladies at the reception desk started trash talking him. I overheard every word of it. (I'm sure they've said some colorful things about me too.) This is why I'm leaving Missoula Vet. I know they won't care. Thank you, Dr. Cross, for taking such great care of my dog. I will miss you!

We were able to claim him and had to wait until he got neutered. Despite having to wait an extra week for him to get fixed due to a vet emergency, the wait was worth it. He's neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots, save for his rabies since he's not old enough yet. However, they did say they will pay for his rabies vaccine when he gets it and they also pay for the registration for his microchip. They have an amazing adoption fee, all above services included, $125. The staff were very nice and communicated with us despite us living 4 hours away. I would recommend this shelter to anyone!

A staff member called myself, & my two references & without hearing anything back after a while i decided to call & check up on the process. I called for almost everyday for about a week & a half, no one would give me an answer or when they said they would call back they never did. Finally i got ahold of the manager & she said the puppy had been adopted that morning. I was told that my application 2 weeks prior was one of the only ones & that it was looking very good for me, then basically got ghosted. This shattered my family, as we were all in love & looking forward to taking the sweet pup home to be apart of our family. The staff was rude & laughed after telling us the puppy had been adopted by someone else. I wouldn't ever recommend this place as it only has led our family to disappointment.
