He even managed to fit in a dental cleaning on the same day with Jahangir Akhtar. Jahangir's friendly and frank disposition put me at easy. He told me what to expect and check on me throughout the process to make sure I was comfortable. You will never get an actual person on the phone. It gives you 20 options and u still will not get through to anyone that works in clinic or scheduling. Tried calling District office to file a complaint and same issue their, no one answered their phones. The only people who answer's their phones is Pharmacy. My Specialist was trying to reach them several times and could never get through. My Specialist even told me they had same problem with previous patients. Instead of investing in Lobby Comercials and podcasts that no one listens to, that money should be invested in phone operators who can answer pts phone calls. I have been going here for years and this place has gotten so bad. "You're more than just a number" MY ASS. I called for my appointment for the end of September. I could not make that appointment because I have a job that is very demanding. I called to reschedule. They could get me in October 21st. Almost a month later! I had two appointments back to back. On with the social worker and one with the doctor. I only received ONE call reminding me of my appointment at 11:45. I arrived at 11:33. The lady said I missed my appointment with the social worker at 11. I told her I only recieved one reminder call for 11:45. She then walked back to speak with the social worker then came back saying "oh sorry the social worker canceled. You'll have to reschedule". This is unacceptable. I only received the one reminder call. I have already had to wait almost a month to reschedule the first time. I am out of medications and unfortunately I need all 3 to LIVE. My Dental Hygienist Daisy, Is The BEST Hygienist ever. Her Patient Side Manner is Phenomenal. Recommendations are Always followed. Arose, my radiology tech was so nice and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Emiko was so wonderful. My 1st time meeting her. Explanations and Recommendations were so helpful. The first appointment was canceled by them at the time of the appointment due to a error on their parts. A second appointment was made at a location even further away. When I showed up I was ordered to purchase a mask, only to be told not to wear it. They accused me of HIPAA violations and made me wait for over an hour as they figured out how much money they were going to steal from me, since the VA set up the appointment and was paying for it. Should be zero stars. I've been trying to help my grown daughter get dental care. She has teeth in the back that need to be pulled (wisdom). She has no dental insurance. She isn't currently working. I found this place supposedly does a sliding scale fee. I figured it has to be better than what we have been getting quoted. You have to send in a slew of paperwork for an appt. They won't tell you the cost of the visit until you arrive. They at first scheduled the wrong location and then corrected it a few days later. I take off work to take her only to find the X-ray and exam is $300! How can that be on a sliding scale? If I'm not mistaken some places do that free. She needs the work done as we have already done this part but I realize they all make you do it again after a few months. Not at all affordable for someone without dental insurance or a job. I have been waiting for over a year for my partial. The first top partial I received was the wrong one. I requested metal and got acrylic then was told I had to pay for their mistake. I was told they would replace the partial. But, I would have to pay for the lab fees. I always get expedient care on my teeth if a distraction or filling is needed. But the process for getting my partial dentures takes months. it make sense. Many problems and mistakes in the making of the dentures and poor note taking or disregard of and over excess of procedures not deem to be necessary for the sake of running up the bill. To make matters worse the partial I did receive the acrylic one. That I had to keep til the metal one is made. It cracked and broke after just three months. Now I'm back to square one. No teeth in the front. They will not pay for the repair and no guarantees. read more

They do not answer the phone, respond to voicemail, respond to email, text messages, correspondence through their app, nor the scheduling portal on their website. This is not a new problem. Its only gotten worse over the past year.  Unfortunately, similar reviews on here and yelp from 2 years ago suggest the problem is not only unaddressed, but systemic. Regardless of the platform...  website, their app , email, calling, voicemail, text ... I've never received a response from anyone in almost a year.  Have a question for your provider? Need to reschedule? Have a question about insurance, Ryan White for HIV+, cost or services provided? Then get in your car and drive up to speak with them in person bc your otherwise throwing dust to the wind. The impact this has on existing patients is made more frustrating bc St. Hope is so consumed with keeping every appointment slot full that their appointment scheduler cancels your appointment if you miss the automated call, adding 3 to 4 weeks to your wait time. If it helps put the extent of this problem in perspective, I am in month 10 of a process that takes 2-3 months max anywhere else. And I've got 2 months to go. The biggest cog is the person they have cancelling appointments. It appears her power is unsupervised and she uses her cancelled appoint count as a means to validate her existence. Judging from that metric alone, its a safe bet she is the perpetual employee of the month award winner. How motivated is someone like this to pick up the phone when the customers tries to call to save their appointment? So, come to St. Hope and join me, and others, repeatedly getting cancelled and rescheduled due to no fault of our own. Its how a 3- 4 month process turns into 12. It's neat they pay someone to cancel patients after one missed call,  despite never answering any of ours. A businesses primary number going straight to voice mail for 10 months straight?  It is all too pathetic and broken to rationalize. My husband had his first dental visit at the Bellaire location. The second appointment was made for Erin William, DDS at the Conroe location (1414 South Frazier, Suite 105) for 7/15. We live in Bellaire and were puzzled why it was made for such a far location, but given we found out late so he drove there anyway. He arrived at the location and saw the office was closed and nobody was there. When we called we found out the appointment was actually at the Bellaire location and they sent us wrong appointment information! We still don't understand how the system can make such a significant and easy to avoid mistake. It seems to me the quality of the process is sub-par and it makes us scared to get dental services there. I was told the office manager would give me a call but I never received the call. read more

I don't know enough about the whole foundation organization, But I made a medical appointment to establish primary care for myself because I live just a couple of miles away from the clinic so that was convenient for me, but the doctor or person that is listed as being a doctor isn't very knowledgeable of CT scans or the results from them but that's fine because they are not hard to understand After all the reports are written in plain English And if she is a doctor then she should understand the medical terms in the report. But this lady disregarded just about everything that was said in my report from the CT scans and she ordered me to have an X-ray??? I didn't get that and I still don't understand why she would order me to have an X-ray when I had already had a CT scan done of my neck and back and if that doesn't make you question her opinion I don't know what would because in my report it also stated that I should have a biopsy or a pet scan performed Because it may be cancer and cancer does run in my family and I was a smoker for 30 years so I would not have ordered an X-ray. It's pretty cut and dry she's ether not a medical doctor or she had something on her record that prevents her from writing prescriptions because she was supposed to send my high blood pressure medication and my inhalers to a CVS pharmacy and she didn't do that? There's a lot of red flags about my visit with this lady and I am not very happy with her or my health insurance company because I found out that they the insurance company is a fraudulent company or they are boarding on fraudulent activities and the providers that they give to the members is very questionable and I don't have time for that because I have several signs of cancer and time isn't my friend or on my side right now. Originally went to have some tests run as well as establish a primary care doctor. Was told that the "doctor" there was great and was accepting new patients. Come to find out there was no certified doctor there- she was only a certified nurse. I don't know how they can be allowed to tell people that she's a certified doctor if she's NOT! Then when trying to set up primary care at a completely different legitimate doctor's office this clinic would not help at all with getting medical records or lab results. They gave us a number to their corporate office to call to release records but you can never get through to anyone! Then they tried to make us make another appointment just to get the medical records and told us to go on their app to get lab results. St. Hope has a great office staff and a wonderful dentist, Dr. Harris. Administration, however, is a different story when it comes to communication. They have a "policy" that patients need to confirm appointments. No problem as that is the norm. You get numerous emails to confirm your appointment date and you also get a text message to confirm your appointment. Great! Now try and confirm your appointment date for when you get a text, there is "YES" or "NO" like most health care offices send to us. If you respond to the text, you DON'T get a confirmation of your appointment via text. You get a email and again, NO WAY CAN YOU CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT. You call the dental office, and you get a long absurd recording of what all St. Hope provides and finally told to leave a message and they will contact you within 48 hours. Only problem, seldom do they call you back. You go into the patient portal and leave a message trying to confirm your appointment. Guess what, you get no confirmation. YOU show up for your appointment only to find out your appointment has been cancelled because you didn't confirm your appointment. Apparently, St. Hope IT doesn't have the computer savvy to fix this simple problem. St. Hope thinks everything is wonderful. They need to look at the YELP complaints. I think Medicare, that strongly believes in patient communication, would like to hear about the communication problems at St. Hope in order to get St. Hope to fix the problem. read more

Brittany told me that I would get called back. 2:20pmI got a call back but they hung up before I could answer. 2:21pm I called and was put on hold for 2 minutes. Then the employee answered asked if I was a new or present patient then put me on hold for another 2 minutes. The employee answered to tell me everyone else was on lunch or with other patients. 2:42pm. Another employee calls to ask if I am new or existing patient. St Hope has no sense of urgency. They prolong every medical condition unnecessarily and the doctors and nurses will take your condition / pain lightly by prescribing the lowest dosage of medication even though they have means to prescribe a higher dosage to actually address the patients issues. It takes hours to get results, it takes hours to get meds, it takes hours for St Hope to even answer the phone. By far one of the worst care facilities I have ever experienced. read more

I had my third visit with Dr. Sheila Briscoe and what a NIGHTMARE!I was needing to have a life sustaining medicine refilled (without it I become sick and can die within a 24 hour period to a week time frame of which I know for a fact because it happened in 2017 of which i was hospitalized for a week and had to fight my way back to the living with the help of the wonderful Specialists at Methodist Hospital)!Dr.Briscoe decided that she thought it best to not refill my medicine telling me that i needed to see the on staff ST.Hope shrink Dr.Asana as if my medically documented condition that had been diagnosed by one of the top Gastrointestinal doctors in the country was just a delusional episode!NOW TELL ME WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR PURPOSELY TRIES TO INTENTIONALLY KILL THEIR PATIENT by going against documented medical facts?A doctor who has no value for human life that is who!Just because I am poor does not mean my life has no value and that I do not have anything to contribute to society!This seems like a prime example of medical malpractice.Also be aware that the other Doctors there that they say are Doctors are actually Nurse Practitioners that St.Hope has decided to call Doctors,this is not in any shape or form legal!Think hard before you intrust these people with your life,they do not care about you as a human or as a patient.The one shining exception I have found here is the Pharmacy,Helen I am so thankful,on more than a dozen time she has saved my life by spotting drug interactions that the "Doctors"have haphazardly prescribed.Helen and her trusty assistant Sinead seem to go above and beyond and personally I would take either as my "Doctor"if given the option because these two really do care! I would give zero stars if it would impact their score. This clinic, lab and pharmacy...ESPECIALLY THE PHARMACY, is the worst healthcare clinic I have ever been to. I understand that many of us are poor that go there, but that is no excuse for bad healthcare. I'm on HIV meds and have NEVER missed a single day taking them until St. Hope. I'm going on day 5 without them. I have been in complete remission until St. Hope. By the time they get my meds ready, I will have gone 10 days without them. Stopping HIV meds can cause your disease to mutate and make the meds stop working. My case worker has been trying to get it straightened out since last week, but the pharmacy will not work with her. I was told that I had to sign a release so she can work with them. I did that two months ago, but the pharmacy lost it, so I had to fill out another one. This place is truly a joke! They have absolutely no interest in the health of their patients. Also, the office manager NEVER calls you. In fact nobody ever calls you back or when they're supposed to call you about something. On a positive note, the eye doctor and his assistant are great. They are the only healthcare people in that building that seem competent. And, I changed providers to Dr. Sims and he is cool and seems to know his stuff. If there is any possible way for you to get healthcare somewhere other than St. Hope, my advice would be to do just that. Avoid St. Hope like the plague. This facility needs to remove 95% of their Bellaire staff, including Practitioners. The Bellaire location by far the worst. Where should I start... Nurse Practitioner: Lisberg says 2 words to you and then pretends you are invisible. She acts like she doesn't work there. She changes my meds every time. She says to stop taking meds and start new ones. When it came time for a refill or /and discuss how the meds helped or not... I was told she was in school, at another job, busy in clinic. I was going through withdrawal symptoms since I was neglected from treatment. The front desk told Lisberg I would wait to be worked in due to urgency. I waited 4 hrs and she said she had to go because she leaves at 3 on Friday. I reached out to Mary, the office manager, she tried to get an answer from Lisberg but til this day no response(12 days). Unfortunately, Mary gave up communicating with me and stopped keeping me up to date. I told them I felt horrible, no sleep for 3 days. My heart rate was super high, shortness of breathe and severe anxiety. All due to Lisberg not responding to any messages. I was just in clinic 2 weeks ago but she " forgot " and refused to finish her office summary. My father died if s heart attack st 59. I pleaded for help but Shaterri, medical assistants, office manager, Dr Briscoe , and social worker st Bellaire said they couldn't do anything. I went to sleep every night for a few hrs not knowing if I would wake up. I even passes out one night AND BUSTED MY EYE OPEN. Again ? No concern from office. I called corporate, I was told Patrice and Shaterri handle these issues but no call was returned. SHAME ON EVERYONE WHO REFUSED TO DO THEIR JOB ANF HELP. THE ONLY STAFF MEMBER WHO HELPED ME, showed compassion, put herself in my shoes and immediately offered help was Angelica! Without her help working me in the same day, I would probably not be alive. Although I drove from Dickinson to North of woodlands it was worth the drive. She helped me with a smile, concern and disbelief how cruel people can be. Dr Pharises was also great. I Madeline aware of the inhumane way I was treated and apologized. I rather drive almost 2 hrs to see Angelica and Dr pharis because they truly care. read more

For the past five years or so I have been attempting to have much needed dental work done, but because of insurance as well as other issues I never was able to find a doctor who seemed interested in actually helping me, rather, they were more interested in getting whatever money they could from the insurance company and then passing me along to somewhere else with a referral. Most dentists including the ones I visited even a month prior to St. Hope and dr. Alonzo, had always told me all they could do would be to knock my teeth out and get dentures. From the minute Dr Alonzo walked into the room at st. Hope dental in Bellaire, I felt at ease, he asked me what was wrong he asked me what I wanted to fix he spoke to me and had a real conversation that put me at ease on the spot, and confident that he had my best interests in mind. instead of telling me to knock out my teeth, as every other doctor I went to before had, doctor Alonso said "we're going to save all of your good teeth that we can", knowing that I was deathly afraid of dentures as I mentioned to him in our conversation. Dr. Alonso and the folks at st. Hope dental in Bellaire are by far the best dental care I have ever received in my life. I could not endorse dr. Alonso and st. Hope dental more highly or enthusiastically. They have been absolutely amazing. I hope I will continue to have Dr. Alonso as my dentist for the rest of my life. This clinic is very thorough and they really work with you for scheduling. I had to reschedule twice at the last minute and they just rescheduled me. They didn't try and charge me like other clinics. All the staff is very friendly and they spend quite a bit of time with you. They go by a clouding scale so it makes it very affordable if you don't have insurance. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's been since August of this year since my mother started to go to St.hopes. After paying for visits and labs they lose her paperwork. Months later after many many calls but no returned calls they are unable to treat her. We cannot get any cooperation from the Conroe office. To be done with us all they have to do is fax a paper over to a doc office that can treat her and it's been 3 weeks now and they've yet to fax it over even after she has signed the medical release form. Gwendolyn DeJean, a pysch nurse at this location, is absolutely unpleasant and unprofessional. After she changed all my medicines, I had adverse affects and she refused to change them back and told me "you can go somewhere else!" This is the second time I've had this issue with her, she's seemingly very controlling and pushy. I would NOT recommend seeing her EVER. I've changed providers today after calling a manager. If I had a choice, I would NOT use this clinic. The staff are oblivious to patient care, other than a few. The medical director has no patient-side manor, the clinic manager (Mary) is graceful and judicious but does _nothing_ to resolve issues with providers, who are all nurse practitioners under Dr. James Sims- the thoughtless medical director. They never, ever see patients on time even though patients arrive over 15 mins early--I wait over an hour every time. They call themselves a "Fully Qualified Federal Healthcare Facility" but they're really a factory for "specialty" patients to get sub-standard care. It's a disgrace. I've never had to holler at a medical professional but here it's common. People are unhappy, appointments are never on time, and the Board of Directors has no idea what patients go through to get sub-quality "care." If I were a donor to Saint Hope Foundation, I'd wonder WHERE THE SAINTS ARE and stop donating. Seriously. It's ridiculous. This clinic also operates a dental clinic in another suite. Those people are professional. The dental clinic is awesome. They know how to treat people. If you're coming for anything other than dental, think again. These providers provide nothing but stress and you're better off using your Medicare, medicaid, or private insurance somewhere else. I wouldn't recommend this place to my dog, but I have no choice. I'd consider changing my review if their BOARD would realize they're not providing anything but stress just to bill a client. Someone should sue them. read more

This is a clinic that exploits individuals with marketplace insurance by providing terrible, insensitive healthcare. Their only concern is maximizing profit through the use of C+ graduates from healthcare professional institutions. The office is ran by untrained, rude individuals (except for Jay and Larry in the front desk, who actually work hard but follow orders from terrible human beings) who consistently lie about doing their jobs properly. For instance, the office manager consistently argues with you about your complaints. They have only 1 individual, Monica with referrals, who takes care of referrals for all of their locations and she even has the audacity to argue with you when you ask why she lied about sending out multiple referrals to other clinics. This trash hole consistently pushes to use their dental and psychiatric services everytime you come in. Their annoying motto is "where you're not just a number" but they are definitely not what they falsely preach. Huge shame on healthcare providers like this place. read more

Worst experience at a physicians' office ever. You are absolutely "just a number" and the lack of professionalism was shocking. From the 45 seconds I spent with the PA, to the 10+ calls I had to make to get my results/follow up/referral, to the avoidance of responsibility and patient care - I would strongly suggest you seek care ELSEWHERE. read more
