How do you not give a church 5 stars? Unless you have a really bad experience I guess. I've been attending this church since 2015. I was pregnant and looking for a church to start attending regularly and to raise my kid in. I did a bit of a Maple Ridge circuit of the Protestant churches. I found most of them pretty boring or bland but found St George's to be different. When David became pastor there it got even better. He has a perfect dry British humour that not everyone understands (I do, and the rest of the congregation is catching on). He brings a light to your morning service that I find other churches just don't have.
It's pleasant to attend, not a chore you feel you "should" do.
The best coffee for after the service! Fresh and plenty of it. The people are kind and welcoming, but not pushy. So you can go and check it out without being bombarded, or you can go and be welcomed like an old friend.
It's a perfect blend of traditional and modern worship with enough of each to keep its attendees interested throughout the service. read more
