This was my first time and it was everything I expected from a festival in Cudahy. It's like a church fest without the religion - you got your brats, the traditional Friday Fish Fry and Sunday Chicken to eat and beer to drink. Music is generally cover bands, there are tents in case of rain and beer is probably more expensive than it should be (but if you bought 4 beer tokens you got one free, so props to that). It all benefits the Cudahy Lions Club which is cool. People watching is absolutely epic. Also, the cleanest Portajohns I've ever experienced as well as a proper hand wash station. Say what you want about Cudahy, but they're clean in the toilet department.

I am serious when I say that this fest was just about the most Wisconsin thing ever. There was plenty of sausage, fried cheese, Lions corn (the best corn, duh) and of course BEER. There was a polka mass. And then polka bands. On Sunday, you could get hot ham sandwiches, because that's what you eat after a polka mass. I was told that Saturday was incredibly crowded, but Sunday was more mellow. There was a full sized wrestling ring, displays featuring The Crusher - and of course his life sized statue carrying a barrel of beer. The cost was entirely crowdfunded to the tune of $40k! I don't know if this will end up being an annual event - if you missed out, you can always drop by and grab a selfie with The Crusher. Check it out, ya turkeynecks!

The wrestling went 2 hours and was awesome. The music is great as well as the vendors. Cool that 3 Klement Racing Sausages were there to dance along. Audience loved this group; hope to catch them again at another Milwaukee fest. I can see why The Reverend won the Wisconsin Music Industry (WAMI) award for best blues band in 1999, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2008 and again in 2010. They also received the People's Choice Award in 2006, 2008 and again in 2010. If your looking for quality blues & jazz for your next party or event, check them out!

This place was excellent! We came to watch The Sound of Music put on by Christian Youth Theater…read more(which was phenomenal!) and had a great time. All the staff was very friendly, helpful about assisting for seating arrangements, where to go, how to get there, etc. There were many people to assist outside and inside the theater for any direction you may need to find things like the concessions stand, bathrooms, exits. The entire place was very very clean, so you didn't have to worry about sitting on a seat that previously had gum on it or anything. The areas were roomy enough, and you didn't feel like you were packed in. It's still close quarters, but you have enough room to enjoy your time there. There were plenty of people there to assist in anything that was to come up, like if there were sound issues, technical difficulties, or similar.
