I found the nearest church from my place. You have to get their pretty early for a good parking spot. If not, then it's a pretty long walk. The church is pretty small compared to the other ones I've been to. It was an English mass and there's so many Asians. I thought I mistakenly went to a Vietnamese mass lol. They have single chairs instead of the long row bench. I didn't really mind because the chairs were really comfortable. The choir had great singing voice by singing well in tune with the music. This will definitely be our main church destination in Milpitas.

End of funeral services. It was very beautiful.

**FUNERAL SERVICES** I get it...I absolutely get it now. I understand the reason why people spend money on funerals. St. Elizabeth's services were inexpensive, but the services seemed like they could have been a ton of money, because it was so lovely and touching. It was a beautiful send off for my father. The church itself is very nice. The decor and ambiance is a modern twist to the classic iconographic decor of Catholic churches. Instead of stained glass they had frosted glass with images and designs. The paneled walls of the dais area are painted white, and it contributes to the modern fresh appeal of the church. Someone noticed that the pall (cloth over the casket) was stained, so they changed it without us having to ask. It was great that they were attentive like that. We ordered **live music** for the service, and it was extremely lovely. I would absolutely recommend it. The music director sent us a standard list of songs for our review and approval. The whole process was very easy. There was a piano player, guitar, and also a vocalist. They did a fabulous job. Father Joseph Page was the perfect mix of sincerity and warmth. He was able to deliver a comforting service touched with the right amount of humorous anecdotes. We were definitely pleased with his delivery. The podium is kind of high. When I stood behind it to give the eulogy it was a little bit awkward at first. I wasn't quite sure where to put my arms. I think my sister said she noticed there was something that pulled down that you stand on our something. So, I guess for those who would be doing readings/and or the eulogy ask about the podium. When you're grieving it's hard to think about planning services. But you know what? Those additional details help you to move on, knowing that your loved one was remembered it such a nice way. It's not really closure, because you'll never forget your loved one. But, it's an act of love that will help get you through the grieving process. St. Elizabeth's did this for us, and we're so grateful to them.

Before I was born - a committee of a few older woman tried to befriend my mom in hopes of getting her to put me up for adoption. My mom was 16 when she had me. My dad had just died. My grandma had died three years prior. The congregation was so loving to my grandpa and family. Back in the 90's, I truly believe it was a supportive community that praised God. Now - the pastor came in to pray over my grandpa and referenced needing to hurry to coach his daughter's senior game. Four times. Also, couldn't bring a change of clothes in the car? My grandpa was some of the only love and goodness left in that church. Have some respect. He donated money his whole life here just to be told he couldn't have his wedding reception there due to a sleepover for the teenagers years ago. & that we couldn't chose who spoke at his funeral if he had it here. Shame on you. Very tone deaf. They always have been. God / forgive me. I know you don't reside here. & I don't know if you ever did.

If you're new to church or enjoy a very lively, event-like experience, this might appeal to you. What surprised me, though, was how much of the service felt like advertising for upcoming paid programs. It felt longer than the actual message itself. When Pastor Ron came up to give the sermon, I expected some teaching or guidance. Instead, he mostly repeated short phrases like "God is good" or "Hallelujah" a few times, then closed with a very brief prayer, just a couple sentences. That's completely valid as a form of worship, but if you're looking for a sermon with teaching, Scripture breakdown, or practical application, this church may leave you feeling like something's missing. I left feeling a bit confused and underfed spiritually. Redemption Church clearly knows how to create a lively, welcoming experience, but for someone seeking depth and teaching, it didn't meet that need.

PJC one of the pastors here treated me to a very delicious lunch which I am very appreciative of. The service itself was very eye opening and pastor Micheal preached a great sermon. After the service I was invited to go to LSL which stands for Living Stones Lunch which was pretty close by. I met lots of new people here and many were met with many interesting conversations. My kids were also having a great time as they went to pebbles which is a kids service. During LSL my kids had a great time hanging out with the other kids and playing games. They were playing basketball, badminton, and even volleyball. Will be coming back! Logan Chien

When I first moved to the Bay Area, I was searching for a church and was looking for two things 1)…read morea strong community and 2) a place where I could serve the people. LSCC is rooted in both. Small groups are located all around the Bay, and LSCC continually provides opportunities for leadership. The church is small, about 70 members and 30-40 present at each service. It's a good size if you're interested in getting to know the people that make up LSCC. After service, they encourage LSL (Living Stones Lunch), where all attendees are encouraged to fellowship with one another. You'll find people here that just graduated college, young professionals, and new families. There's a great children's ministry now, with ~15 kids, ranging from newborn to 10 years old. You'll also find people with all kinds of passions, (to name a few, music, climbing, gaming, sports) and there are even ministries dedicated to each. I would encourage others to check it out! Who doesn't need a great community?!?
