I graduated from St. Edward the Confessor in 2013 before moving onto St. Dominic High School in Oyster Bay, where I am now a senior. All I can say is, it was at St. Edward's where I made my best memories, and got an excellent education while doing so. I had so many opportunities at St. Edward's that I would not have had anywhere else, such as getting to know each one of my peers, knowing everyone's name in the hallway, and getting undivided extra help from my teachers. During my time here, I had the opportunity to grow in faith and become a better Catholic. Most importantly, it was at St. Edward where my best friend and I met when we were three years old and in the Nursery program. Even though we went to different high schools, we still remain best friends just as we were at St. Edward, and our time there will always hold a special place in our hearts. I am also still very close with other friends that I made at St. Edward. We like to call St. Edward "the friendship making factory" because the friends you make there will be your friends for life. So, if you are looking for a Catholic elementary school on Long Island for your son or daughter to attend, St. Edward's is the way to go! read more
