I came here to listen to a debate about Richard Dawkins' book 'The God Delusion'. The place was completely crammed, and it's a big church. The acoustics were fine inside the main church, but there were so many people there that many had to sit in the corridor, where it was hard to hear. This might prove awkward for mothers who have to take their children outside during a service, but in general I can't really criticise it for that! Still, it can serve as a warning to get there early if you're going to a popular discussions. The facilities are good and modern with easy accessible toilets and clear directions. There's a room to linger in before/after services/discussions, and the corridors are bright and cheerful. It's nice to have a centre sort of attached to the church itself. The people there are very warm and welcoming and I know many people who have close friends at the church. When I went there was a homeless man there, made to feel very welcome and equal. It's nice to find such warmth and humility in the city. read more
