I don't know where to begin but…read moreI'll start by saying if you like singing the old Church hymns, if you like church services without alot of modern modes of worship, like a Baptist Church of old, then this is a Church to consider. I know Pastor Black and his wife and they are a fine Christian family and the church has hosted Evangelists to speak and they have some fine folks here. The building is small inside but we'll constructed inside. The Church has a tract ministry going. They teach only out of the Bible and don't employ a study guide or Church publication like do many churches do now. It's a small Congregation but thriving. The carpet and paint work inside really enhance the sanctuary. I highly recommend a visit here if you feel led by the Spirit to come.

They had a few nice folk. I didn't speak to many but seem friendly enough. It was largely a senior congregation. I don't know about the Sunday school as I wasn't there. The interior was old rustic style and a beautiful large old portrait of Christ above the altar. I partook of communion today and the reading they gave and the administering of it was very reverent. They seem to host a number of church activities through the week. Highly Recommended.

The Minister sings professionally and has a warm spirit and friendly people. I've never been inside a church like this. It reminds one of the old Spanish missions and no one room is alike. It has old Religious art like you used to see inside Churches. They song the old hymns and at the conclusion of every service the women all get up and sing as they are departing, "Till We Meet", they sing beautifully. We had my wife's celebration of life service here and this place really set the tone for everyone in attendence and the Minister sang "Amazing Grace" unlike I've ever heard at the close. The landscape is really beautiful. I recommend coming out on Founders Day on Sept 23 when they have a Church open house and you can see all the rooms in the church. It has a nice Prayer Room I go to after every service and the pot luck after every service is fine. The community really is supportive of this church. Just simple traditional Preaching and services.

The children's ministry is awesome and my son's absolutely love Sundays! They get so excited to go to church and that warms my heart. I love hearing Pastor Sam preach. You can tell he really loves Jesus and it means even more to me that he reads the Bible verse by verse every Sunday and shares the word of God with us. When they do worship, Pastor Sam has written some songs of his own, and he enjoys singing them during worship service, which I think is pretty cool. Although I absolutely love when he does other songs as well like yesterday, when he did a Phil Wickham song! Phil Wickham is my favorite and I felt like when he chose that song, God was using Pastor Sam to speak to me through that song during worship. Overall, it's a very welcoming church and they have made me feel like family. I was skeptical at first because my oldest son is five years old and is on the spectrum of autism. Not everybody is kind and welcoming to that but we have never had any issues since we started going there! My son tells me how much he loves it and how everyone is so kind which makes my heart so happy. They truly are showing the love of Jesus Christ at this church! I also enjoy that they don't make tithing the main focus like a lot of churches do. The main focus every time we walk in is Jesus Christ, His salvation, His love and His Word!

Even security pastors...it was strange. I donated over $1000 to the church and was never sent a receipt and I confided to the pastors about abuse and they just told me to read my Bible. My children were bullied so bad in the children's ministry and one was told to go to a temple as he said his background is Jewish. To say it nicely, this church scared 2 out of 4 of my children away from wanting to become Christian and I understand why!
