I came to listen to some beautiful Christian music a message from the of God and bless and encourage all who were there. I was in for a a pleasant surprise, when I entered the church felt such an anointing, a special presence of the Lord. The congregants, the Pastor, his wife and family were so warm caring and genuine, as Christians should be. The presence became more intensely joyous and jubilant because the Pastor let the spirit of the Lord Jesus dictate and lead the church. It was a breath of fresh air to sing the old and newer gospel hymns and today hear the word of the Lord singles in song. I left not just blessed others as I knew I would, but was overwhelmingly blessed not only emotionally, physically- because I asked for prayer, but mostly spiritually I met the Lord in a special way with a presence I have not felt in a long time. I am going to visit again. I haven't felt such love, such realness in spiritual leaders in a long time. I would highly recommend you to visit Turning Point, if you want to see what real Christians are like and experience the presence-the anointing- in a new and refreshing way. Many professional venues don't house this type of audio/visual equipment. Now what's even more important are the people inside. These are the most down to earth, caring, friendly, easy to get to know people that I've come across in my life. I'd recommend anyone to come and immerse yourself in the experience, you won't be disappointed!!

It's too far from my home to visit on a regular basis but based on my visits I really like this church. They have a decent sized sanctuary for services, the music is pretty good on par with your average christian church and the people are really nice. The facility is beautiful and while I didn't have my kids in tow during my visits I can't confirm what kind of children ministry they have but I'm sure they have something. The church does offer various services/ministries including mens and woman ministries. It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a good christian church.

Plenty of parking. Behind the church is a cemetery that dates back to the revolutionary war. You'll find headstones from soldiers dating from there to the present. Also memorials of the same. If you go directly behind the church and walk about 5 minutes you'll find the tomb of Washington Erving. Also present in this historic cemetery are the graves of Rockefeller's and Carnegies. They do tours both at night and during the day (night one is about an hour). Plus see the old and new sites of the horseman bridge. If you are in the area this is a must.

You'll find Washington Irving buried in the church cemetery which adds to the visit! After multiple visits over the years, I never tire of visiting Sleepy Hollow and the Old Dutch Church!
