This library is pretty big, with a large room dedicated to the kids. The staff aren't particularly friendly on the whole, unlike many of the city's other libraries (particulary Laira and Peverell). There's computer access, and many large print books for those who need them. In all of Plymouth's libraries, I've been able to order books in from around the other city branches, but St Budeaux is the only branch that charges me £1 to do this. Maybe that's because it's not central? The library seems to cater to the very old and very young, and books for the inbetweeners like myself are not catered for as strongly as other city brances. read more
