#1 - Website says Xray department open until 5 pm, but I know closed early. #2 - I arrived between 435-440 pm and the first thing that I note is with is the receptionist at the front desk checking the clock. #3 - I am prepared and ready, thus I whip into the washroom as the techician is with another patient. As I am drying my hands I hear my name being called. Trying to move quickly (leg injury) and open the door, I come out to the technician standing in the isle facing the bathroom door staring me down with a look of disgust. I am told in an passive aggressive manner to hurry and come with him and then told, the xray clinic closes at 5 pm. After the second set of xrays moving to the 3rd, the technician slightly changed his attitude. I had completed my xrays and was in my car by 451 pm. I can't vouch for the rest of the centre, but my experience at the x-ray clinic here was horrible. While the receptionist was sweet and nice, the Male x-ray technician was abrupt and off-putting. My 13 year-old daughter was in for an x-ray for her foot, and the technician asked her "when she got her last period?". I can understand maybe asking a woman "if she was pregnant" for obvious health and liability reasons before x-ray, but asking a young girl about her period for a foot x-ray?? Went to try to see Doctor for ear throbbing and pain. Don't have my own physican. I was completely screened for covicovid and masked. The receptionist told me to wait in my car for 20 min. There I waited for a little over 2hrs. Finally nurse called asked me a few questions and told me to return at 2pm. I did so and waited in Isolation room for two more hours. The clinics only doctor had been delayed in traffic. The whole time I waited nobody checked my vital signs or enquired about my well-being. Finally doctor arrived and removed a few years of impacted was from my ears. I understand there are nurse practitioners at this clinic and my understanding is that have an advanced scope of practice. What's wrong here? I came to the clinic at 0900 and left at 1600. The clinic had posted the over capacity sign at 0930 and I guess people we're sent away after that. This clinic needs more than one doctor and staff who can perform more skills and proper assessments. read more

I was in last year for an xray. While the receptionist was nice, the male tech was not. He barked orders at me. I was not feeling well and in pain. This is not acceptable. The tech needed to have some compassion. If you can't have compassion for people in pain, then find another line of work. I hope he is never in that situation. read more

New Primary Care Center is appalling. Receptionist Joanne cant count and kept calling the same numbers. Maybe she should do her job and stop taking personal calls at work. Not busy there yesterday and it took 4 hours before I stormed out. Asked for an Ativan as my nerves were shot waiting for the doctor. Nope. I overheard the doctor talking about personal travels with a patient for 25 minutes. Prescription renewal done willy nilly and not in order of patient arrival. Nurse didn't believe my name when I was called. I already checked in!!! Better health care in Belize!!!! read more

Have tried to go to this clinic twice in the past few months. NEVER AGAIN. First time was for a driver's medical exam which they don't do at that location....apparently they don't accept certain color of forms and didn't have "the proper equipment" (it's a standard physical). Second time was today at around 2pm (they close at 5:45pm), there were 4 people in the waiting room and a sign on the desk saying that "due to long wait times, we are not accepting any more patients today"..... Seriously?? With 3-4 hours left they cut off patients?? Makes me wonder what they even DO treat there. Save your time and frustration and go somewhere else..... read more

One of the worst walk in clinic ever. I have come to this clinics on multiple occasions because of location. I have been told at least on two separate occasions, at around 12:00, that they are no longer accepting patients for the day. Another time, came in at 7:30am for 8:00 opening, at around 8:10, was informed that the clinic won't be opening, as the physician called in sick. Latest visit, was informed it would be about an hour wait, unless some people didn't come back. Approx. 40 min in, two names were called, not here. About an hour in, I heard the receptionist mention that the next doctor hadn't come in yet, and the morning one left before the replacement Dr arrived. Currently sitting at about 1hr 50min in the waiting room, all for a re-referral to a specialist, which will probably take 5 min. I didn't see the receptionists trying to contact the Dr. to see where when they would be here. Why is there only one Dr working at a time at this clinic? This is unacceptable. read more
