Stoped by tonight to see the live nativity. We were reminded of it as we passed 100 candle lite milk jugs lineing SR 46. We followed the candle light trail to the Church, there must have been a thousand jugs along the back road! The nativity, fully costumed angles, shepards and wise men, was great. The Nativity was made of 2 large tents surrounded on 3 sides by wooden "mangers". Those housed horses, llamas, bunnies, sheep, goats, a donkey and even a couple turkeys "petting zoo" style. They played soft choir music in the background as families ambled about visiting. It was beautiful and amazing. We made sure to drop a donation in the box on the way out, it took alot of hard work and thought into putting this together I hope they keep up this tradition. What a wonderful job they did reminding us all what Christmas is really about. read more
