This is a very large church that needs only one improvement, see below for a mystery shopper. When we arrived, we were confused and uncertain where to go. There is construction and apparently a few different places to worship. We arrived early and followed a few people in. The beautiful chapel we went to was actually an overflow chapel. We could have sat in the main chapel. The overflow chapel had a small screen to watch the mass. Unfortunately, it was eye level and we could hardly see anything. The audio was off and on. Hopefully, the AV people weren't paid. If volunteers, then I understand . I suggest having someone who has never been here to come in as a mystery shopper type of visit and try to find their way around. This way they can offer suggestions as to signage, etc. We still have no idea where the main chapel is located! The priest gave a very good homily. read more

***If you are seeking a reverent, Novus Ordo DO NOT VISIT THIS PARISH*** Truly, disappointed by my experience this Easter Sunday at St. Anne's Catholic Church. The beauty of this place demands reverence and beauty. What I experienced was the opposite. The mass began with a seven-minute announcement, inviting men to their "fireside chat", complete with cigars and drinks. Additionally, other imprudent highlights about upcoming events - It is understood lots of visitors attend mass on Easter Sunday and you want to evangelize them; however, there is a time and a place to disseminate this information, such as the back of a worship aid and inside the parish bulletin (which is where they had been printed). Finally, the sacred mass began with (who I thought to be) Kenny Loggins, belting out "Alleluia". The music was not unlike the non-denomination churches across town, with guitars and drums. I was in horror and disbelief at what I was experiencing. Literally, people waving their arms around like they were attending a Pentecostal church service. This music is not appropriate for the sacred and holy mass. It strips away the beauty of the liturgy and obscures one from experiencing the fullness of the holy Eucharist, which is the source and summit of our faith. read more

Everything! Any Catholic Church that supports perpetual adoration is enough said! The Priest here at Saint Ann parish are servants of Christ to include all their amazing Deacons. Volunteers show up and in my opinion so does the Holy Spirit. So many opportunities to serve the Lord. Thank you all for making St Ann a life changer. read more

This church is the most holy spirit led church I have ever attended. The priests and deacons are amazing and so inspiring. They all make themselves available after mass to offer prayers and blessings to anyone that needs them! Every single person I have met is full of faith! It is wonderful to be led to a church that is clearly led by the Holy Spirit. Perpetual adoration is wonderful, the small groups, bible studies, not to mention the Encounter School of Ministry. I also did CRHP recently. I cannot say enough how St Ann's has blessed my life. Also, a shout out to Curtis, the music man. He makes worshiping with music so good! I know it is big, but because of the many wonderful ministries and small groups available, it feels like family. My faith has grown by leaps and bounds since attending this church and I hope that anyone reading this review will consider attending for a visit. read more

I enjoy attending the Catholic Mass here. Due to my schedule, I tend to go to any of the Mass times that are offered on the weekday. They offer Weekday Mass at 7 AM & 12 PM Monday-Friday. They also offer a Mass in Spanish here on Thursdays at 6:30 PM. If you want to attend on Saturday, they have an 8 AM & 5 PM Mass. This is great since my schedule tends to fluctuate weekly. Weekday Masses are in the little chapel adjacent to the church. Even if I go to St. Ann's at an odd time, I feel at peace here. read more

It is a large parish. It has many ministries for you to get involved with the parish community. St. Ann just finished hosting a their annual carnival, one of the largest events in the community. The parish has a lot to offer people of any age, you do have to get involved. read more

My parents were visiting from out of town, and wanted to go to church. We're Catholic. I have no idea where a catholic church is here in Texas. I quickly used the Yelp app to find this place. My parents loved both the building and the service. When we got there, I saw a lot of old white people waddling to the church and thought "looks like we found the right place"... The church has this rounded exterior, almost greek-orthodox-looking. But anyhow, the church itself is enormous. Inside, it's designed in the cross-style, meaning that there are three sections of seating facing the center where the pulpit is located. The sermon was long, over an hour (hour and 20 minutes?) but good. The priest was more casual than priests I've known and when he threw in a golf reference, my ears perked up. Giant church, tons of parishoners. After mass, we walked around and admired the architecture and paintings. Inside the dome, it's painted like something from inside a Papa Gino's. You don't know what Papa Gino's is. It's a pizza joint from back home with gaudy paintings of "Italy" on the walls. Well, so my parents liked this painting - my mom even commented "That's the first time I've ever seen Jesus SMILING". But they did really like it. In the back of the church is ANOTHER room - it's a smaller church-room (Whaddya call it?) for smaller masses or children's masses. It was really pretty too. We also spoke to a woman who was part of the mass. She was super friendly and informative without being pushy about joining. Anyhow thumbs up from my parents so it must have been good!!!! read more

This is quite a nice church, you can see the murals and everything from other's uploaded photos. I live in Irving and usually attend Mass at Holy Family (see that review) Occasionally, if I need to be out this way on a Sunday, I will plan on attending Mass at St. Ann's. It's a lovely place, with a bright and cheerful congregation. The music is truly lovely and they have a large choir. They always have the most beautiful flower displays, so their budget for that kind of thing is much larger than my own church. I've not met the priests personally but they do always welcome visitors at the end of Mass. If you are visiting I'm sure you will feel right at home here. The services are quite crowded as is the parking situation. So I suggest you arrive fifteen minutes early. If you come late, expect to stand in the back. One bonus though, the kneelers are super cushioned. It's like kneeling on a cloud! I have an old patella fracture that only gives me trouble at mass so I pay attention to these things. read more

I'm a frequent visitor of this parish, and my best friends were married there this fall. In fact, I love visiting so much that I hope to be a parishoner one day. I have several friends who are parishoners who have NOTHING but great things to say about it. From my observations, the youth program seems fantastic, people are welcoming and happy, people in the office are friendly, there is perpetual adoration, and daily Mass is attended by people of all ages-- and parents even bring their kids!!
